Ehemm...Honestly or to be more specific, in the 19th century, Sulu's territories only encompassed Sulu Archipelago, parts of Mindanao Island and North-eastern Sabah whilst Brunei's territories encompassed Northern and Eastern Sabah.FYI, Sulu's Royal Family is related to Brunei's and that Sulu is Brunei's former suzereignty before Sulu broke away in the 18th Century. sorry to say that...sultan sulu gave sabah to british...then when british leave sabah and gave sabah indipendent...sabah with open hand joined federation of malaysia..and till the end of the world sabah is part of malaysia...sultan sulu should blame his grand..grand and granfather..why gave sabah to british....then tried to claim back after hundred years...

@zoralph We never lost Sabah through war. It was leased to an Austrian with a British partner. The British illegally incorporate it to the Malaysian Federation. In fact, up to this moment Malaysia refused to settle it through international court of Justice. But don't worry we'll get Sabah at all cost even if you have the British by your side.

@zoralph The Sultan is recognized in the Philippines along with all the Tribal Datus in the Philippines. The Sultan only owns Jolo, Sabah and part of south Mindanao, The of rest in the Philippines are owned by Tribes and Christianized Rajah and Kings(Hari) in the Luzon and Visayas and Mindanao in which all accepted Democracy but still recognized our Datus and Sultan. Dont worry Filipinos well never FORGET that Sabah belongs to us and we will take it back.
