  • I loved seeing all of the old photos from when it was operating. Where did you find those, Toronto Archives?

  • Beautifully done. I've never seen a lot of this Brick Works footage. Excellent video. Maybe one thing you could focus on in your thesis is my concern that it's going to go from a quarry to something that caters specifically to the rich. A Jamie Kennedy restaurant at the Brick Works? I don't know. That seems to undermine the whole vision behind what the Brick Works is and should become. Just a thought.

  • thanks for the comment.  My thesis is not at all assocaited with the current plans for the place. My project designs a development strategy that allows for the place to exist as a ruin and allow for its industrial heritage/logic to predict the new circulation and programming for the site. I believe Evergreen has not programmed the entire place, but luckily they are open to community suggestions and envolvement. I hope to share my project with them after my defense.

  • i think i might have bumped into once there, you took a picture of me and my friend at work, you told us what they were turning into, we went our seperate ways, funny how i found this video so many months later
