WOW this is awesome footage! So Lawler was a heel in Memphis in the 70s? I thought he was always a face. ANd is that Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart as Lawler's manager?!?!

Those 70's Memphis Fans were alot insaner than the mid 90's ECW arena crowd. Obviously, most thought it was real. The good old days were great.

Security at wrestling events was a lot different in the 1970s. Strange, considering that your typical rasslin' crowd in Memphis was potentially a lot more dangerous than it would be now - those hillbillies actually believed it was real.
