@thedude1414 close.. it looked literally exactly like this one though, without the F hole. ^this guitar's pickguard is shaped differently than the 72 deluxe, and the one i played had a pickguard like this, plus i'm pretty sure it had the regular tele headstock like this, not the fat 72 head. i did try it at a guitar center though, it was probably one of their "GC only" models for all i know.

I know the tele you are speaking of. It is a limited run from Fender. Comes in Candy Apple Red, mint green pickguard. I played one at guitar center as well. Yeah, better grab it there cuz your only other chance will be on eBay. They have already stopped production on them. I played one here in TN, thinking about going and picking it up, but I love the f-hole also. But it is just a Fender Tele Deluxe FSR, came in Candy Apple Red and Olympic White only.

@charliesmit yeah...but you can fix it i tried it out at a guitar center on a vox and on a marshall and the vox sustained the feed back but on a marshall if you adjust it, it can take away the feed back :)

Hi! I have a doubt about the thinline deluxe.

I'm gonna buy one, but I don't know if the sound of the thinline deluxe is the same than the thinline deluxe with tremolo. I'm saying this because that f-hole.

I only has the oportunity of hearing them in these demos (thanks) and i prefer the sound of the one with tremolo, but i don't know if that's because of the tones you're using in those songs or if really both guitars are different.

I also don't use a pick , I actually use my nail (cheap pics:) it kinda looks like I have one in my hand but not, I guess it's what you get your self used to, I allways had a bad habit to loose my pics all of the time, so this thing kinda developed by it self :) now I can't even play with a pic, I keep missing the strings if I try, I probably saved tons of money during the years, not because they are expensive but anyway LOL

I must be blind or something, because one second it seems he's playing with a pick, then the next second he's finger picking. I'm aware of the pick/fingering technique, but I don't see where he's resting the pick during the finger picking parts. And yet he goes totally goes back to picking a second later. Crazy. Magic pick? In basically all of his videos. Weird.

And secondly, why did he say his name is "Andy" when he's listed as "Paul Rudd" on IMDB? I don't get it.

The non-sarcastic answer to your possibly serious question is that he's cupping the pick in his hand, as those of us who learned (and enjoy) to play with both a pick and without. Different tones. The sound of your fingers gives it a more...pure tone
