  • Gary Glitter; The King of Glam Rock

  • Thanks for posting - fantastic stuff! Oh yeah!!!

  • It was my first contact with rock music at soc. Cechoslovakia from MC.

    It´s my youth too.

  • Thanks for posting this. It brings back a lot of memories.

I saw GG and the Glitterband at Glasgow Apollo in Nov. 73. The concert was great and he was at the height of his popularity. There was such a sense of fun and escapism at the time.

So sad and unfathomable what Paul Gadd eventually became as a person.....but like Michael Jackson he made a lot of people very happy with his entertainment and music when he was at the top of his game..

  • @glamfakir dont compare him to michael jackson, please - michael never had sex with any kids. please stick to the facts.

  • Awesome music. The man's legendary (for many reasons, some negative but quite a few positive as well). Thanks wanderleivieira for the trip down memory lane. Some of your footage I haven't seen for sometime.

  • also i have this performance in full that Gary Glitter would be wishing us a happy new year - later this year proubaly for the Christmas 1972 edition!

  • wanderleivieira!Thanks,thanks,thanks!

    It's my youth!
