this seriously happened to my friend maddie. she and i got up early to watch two hippos fight for territory. while she filmed the loser run away, her back was turned to the winner, who turned to her and charged. When maddie turned to face it, it's mouth was wide open, and it clamped down on her. she was almost entirely inside, but with one knock back and she was swallowed whole. later on, another male fought the one that ate maddie and, with mouths locked, maddie was coughed up and still ok.
