if you have the excalibur(the strongest sword) you could beat him in 5 mins.

I beat him in less than 5 mins, without the strongest sword. Yuna and Lulu was more than enough for Jecht. Bahamut was overkill if I bought him out. This fight was easy

honestly i think that FF10 was to easy because besides for seymour i never found anything to challenging exepecially this fight i just destroyed him

I agree, but seymour was easy too all 3 times I fought his punk ass. The hardest bosses to me are the ones you create, especially Nemesis SCREW THAT DAMN THING

Well never got around to getting all the spells like ultima and such. But meh i just used Bahamut on him, when you get Bahamut the ability to cause the Zombie effect on Jecht those rock things are useless as the first one hurts him and the second one just heals the damage the first one did.

Beat Jecht with just Bahamut, took not that long either. But eh I just picked the easy way 8chuckles*

Yes, but those are Impossible to lose, unless you petrify yourself, so this is widely considered to be the final boss.

U can go back to get all the tresaures anytime(u just have to redo the cloister of trials;and getting all the hidden items in every temple)

the only temple you can`t return to is the one in Bevelle.If u din`t get the tresure from there when u were there ,then you can`t get Anima. Once u have all the tresures you can use the airship to locate Baaj temple(the same ship can be used to return to the temples).inside u will find Anima.

To get Anima, you have to get all the treasure in the aeons temples. You can't get anima if you didnt get the treasure for Bahamut's temple

The only thing I don't understand is why you kept using mega phoenix when you could have just used regular phoenix because you had alot more of them than the mega phoenix's

Go to the Calm Lands and bribe a Chimera Brain. I believe they ask 196K. I'd check the Bribe FAQ to be sure. I also suggest fighting Mimic's in Omega Ruins as they give about 50K gil each for killing them, and if you have Gillionaire on one of your weapons (such as Rikku's ultimate weapon God Hand) then that doubles. Of course this is assuming you're that far in the game. Be sure to have the person with Gillionaire on the front line when you kill the mimic.
