This video is completely wrong...the 250 ft. towers aren't in the middle of the rolling hills and woods, they are in front ot the barracks and there isn't a damn tree inside the training area, it's not called "flaring" it's called pulling a slip.

On the jump you put your hands on your reserve, they're not just on your risers from the get go, and you have a 4 or 6 count (depending on which parachute you jump) before you check canopy and gain canopy control. Class 26-10 C. CO 1Plt. 1Stk C321

Flare your chute (E I think) and face 90 degress from the direction you are going to land.

*You have to flare right before you land

This is a video of free tower training. These towers are 360 feet high. I saw a guy get tangled up at the top once. He was hanging by a thread and the black hat had to let him down easy. Tense moments but he lived.

There are different ways to get it...go for the official hp of americas army to the download section and get the deployer first...then the game with patching support and stuff like that

Yes, they do the 250ft jump tower in Fort Benning, Georgia and once recruits pass that, then they are permitted to do live jumps from actual aircraft

They Updated the uniforms but the training is still pretty much the same.

Make sure you flare just before landing. You're coming down too fast is why you fail, I had the same issue and it's not real helpful criticism they give you considering it looks like you did it correctly.

OK did it... video doesn't show keys but I think my problem was I was flaring too early... do it right in the middle and only tap it, wait a sec and tap again. I then did a roll with "e" or lean as I was coming in contact. All the posts I read on forums I don't think that there was a lean or something since "e" use to be use (?) and was for flaring. Dunno if it helps but to add commentary to the video.

LOL I hate this training... I just started playing again since the game was originally released (played for a few months) long ago.

I get the point of them forcing you to watch training stuff over but this is one of those where they do the intro over every time and there's no information in it other than it's like a real jump, rather than showing proper technique while the damn medic one is class driven...

I thought I'd watch a few vids b/c I'm tired of hearing my legs shatter! heh
