its still a great game. You just need someone to help you get started and give you some starters equip and money. then you just sell the stuff that you got in the Auction house.

Sorry. Im on something harder then High School this and next schoolyear so I took a break from this game. This game requires a lot of time, which I dont have right now. I WILL 100% restart this game after school. And I recommend you to definately give it a try if you have a lot of time on the hand. Its one of - if not THE best MMORPG out there for someone who loves Fantasy.

hey can anyone estimate how many level could u gain if u started at level 1 and played for 3 months and played for a decent time every day

Hm... Lets see... I got my WAR to 14 in the test month. Although I was very slow. If you play everyday you make that in a week or even faster. I got another class to 15 in the last 3 days(played for 12 hours yesterday) Ill confirm which one in TIMS-|||. I think three months, depending on party-stuff and so on... You could get 30-40... Are you playing already? Or are you thinking of starting to play FFXI?

oh, i have it, i restarted at the start of summer vacation. i right now have a lvl 30rdm, lvl 9 whm, lvl 13 blm, lvl 8 bst, lvl 11 smn and a level 8 dragoon. i always switch off to other ones... not realy geting to far in any job exept red mage

A lot of ppl just don't quite understand the leveling system in FFXI. You can get to level 10 in 1-2hrs easily, and to level 30 within a few weeks of casual playing. Here are three essential tips for new players (to veterans these things are obvious). 1) Emperor / empress / chariot band. Some ppl don't know about these. They're FF's version of "rested xp", buy one from a guard. 2) Fight "easy prey" mobs at earlier levels (quantity > quality). 3) XP is best gained in efficent pt'ing from lv. 15+

Always focus on the important thing about this game, and its to have fun, but aside of that, there is the fact that we need to get in pt's eventually, and we have to abide to some rules to be invited, so go to the website I sent you and you'll see that you can learn a lot, aside of that you made another good vid here ^^

the "hip" thing to do is Gaxe until you learn rampage with axe. but sence 2H update ppl spam gaxe anyways

just have fun, check out that crazy war/whm dood with sword/shield who soloed to lv 50 lol

Don't use Polearm as WAR lol. Use either G.Axe, Axe, G.Sword or Sword. When I was leveling War I used both Axe and G.Axe... occassionally G.Sword.

Why not? I level quite faster with it. But well. If you say so, Ill go try to use a sword...

WARs arn't good with Polearms, compared to Dragoons and Samurais. The higher the skill your job has for a weapon,1. more attack, 2. more accuracy you will have. though not much of a difference at lower levels, it will do later on. But Swords are generally weak, but are stronger than daggers and faster than Axes.
