But I think the "dib" on the plate should be cut off...it is useless and does nothing but makes the cake wobble. I would take the cake to the reception without the top cake on and assemble at the reception. Just bring the piping bag with the corn syrup and attache there.
I agree. I can imagine driving to the reception site at about 5 miles an hour, while someone is hovering over the cake. Or I'd do the assembling and icing at the site.

It is NOT attached...if you try to deliver that it is going to fall in the floorboard and then dirt will be all over it....gross

I also noticed that the top tier wasn't attached. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that she had used up her video time.

I dont think she really knows what shes talking about first off the top tier wasnt connected and you should have dowel rods to support the cake...
