THIS IS UNFORGETTABLE. KANE COULD'VE SPIT GAME ON THIS PIMP TRACK BUT HE KICKED KNOWLEDGE AND FLOWED HIS ASS OFF!!! I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR TOO SHORT AND SCARFACE ON THIS SAMPLE!! AND A SURPRISE KANE APPEARANCE.
I got married in 91', my fiance hired a dj for the wedding...he played all the cliche wedding music....the stuff that no one dances to until they're 60 proof..at the time, my friend and I were deep in the renaissance of rap...Kane, BDP, Three Times Dope, Rakim, Public Enemy, Kool G,..... I happened to have a copy in my car...I told the dj put it on and play "dance with the devil" He did, Kane was blastin and everyone was on the floor from my 79 yo grandmother to the pastor..long live the kane
@davedcp64 FANTASTIC MEMORY...I Can picture the scene right now, nothing but the FUNKIEST , SLICK DANCE MOVES WHILE THIS JAM BOOOOMS IN THE BACKGROUND...wicked
This song came out SEVENTEEN YEARS BEFORE SOULJA BOY'S FIRST LP. Which it doesn't even deserve to be called, because even I could produce better material just by vomiting, defecating and urinating.
Big Daddy Kane ought to pimp-slap you for mentioning him in the same sentence, if not the same breath, as a bitch-ass sellout sucker punk who got money through ridiculous, meaningless bullshit dances, in contrast to intelligent, eloquent, knowledgeable, wise, understanding, intellectual lyrics.
I guess the concept is the same... social commentary on issues with our universe that desperately need solutions. Records like have this have been out for a long time. The Treacherous Three's "Yes We Can-Can," the Fearless Four's "Problems Of The World Today," Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five's "The Message," "White Lines" and "Beat Street Breakdown," Run-DMC's "It's Like That" and the Fat Boys' "In Jail" are perhaps the greatest examples of this sub-genre of hip-hop.
Man i wish Kane whould release another album
