@NapoleonBonaparte179 Not exactly, each of Napoleons attacks against Wellington failed with heavy losses, the French were actually losing before Blucher arrived. The Prussians ensured Napoleons doom and prevented any possibly of him turning the battle in his favour, but the British were far from beaten. Also dont forget it was Wellingtons army that routed the Imperial guard and ended the battle.

Although you will have to remember. If Japan did not force the US into the war, I think Russia would of fell to Germany. Hitler had to over extend his supplies on both fronts when the US entered the War. Thank you Japan!

i am australian first of all. I agree with what you said, no way could such a LARGE area with such shit weather possibly be conquered. But you have to admit, the Russians do not like people invading their land! Take for example Stalingrad, they were pushed right back to the waters edge, yet ended up pushing germany right back to Berlin.

Wrong... Montcalm only met Wolfe once in a major battle and Wolfe won. British won more battles in French Indian War. British won that and Seven Years War. British won Canada as a result and became master of the world. French lost both wars. Canada still part of British commonwealth as result! I'm not jealous at all!

British won against the French in Canada, but the Seven Years' War (1756-1763) was won by a coalition of forces, most to which was PRUSSIAN under FREDERICK II THE GREAT. When Prussia seemed to be beaten, in 1761, Britain "typically" threatened to withdraw her forces (British are always ready to evacuate!) but it was the change of Tsar in Russia (Peter III for Elizabeth) that allowed Prussia to survive (and TO WIN THE WAR -NOT BRITAIN).
