  • this video is the reason i bought my veefer in jan o9

  • ...BTW, was that redline?

  • That really is "SWEETNESS" awesome sound dude, simply awesome!! now THAT is the sound I'm looking for! Not an inlike four, but more like the sound of a v-twin on steroids!! hahah...NICE! you made my night!

  • Beautiful bike!

I'm considering one, or an FZ1.

What kind of seat is that? It really adds to the bike.

  • Thanks! It's a Corbin seat... looks and feels way better than the stocker.

  • @KutWrite an FZ1 will run circles around a VFR800.... garunteed.

  • Nice bike!!!

I was debating getting an Arrow exhaust, but now I'm thinking I like the way the Lasers sound. :)

  • Epic sound!

  • This is probably the most menacing sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a motorcycle. Has more in common with what you expect from a mid-displacement V8's sound than it does a 4 cylinder honda. Just beautiful. That's art. The only other exhaust I think sounds better aesthetically is the two brothers pipe for the Triumph Daytona 675. Lovely.

  • looks like from future.. some kind of alien bike

  • That's one hell of a beautiful VFR !

  • this is the best shit ever ! love the sound , the looks , and good job with the rims !!!

  • LOVE those rims! can you elaborate on how you polished them? also did you clear coat them or do you need to maintain them?

  • you bike is cool, i love the work on the stock rims and the body kit,i love the sound but the shape of the exhaust is a bit strange, not bad but i prefer more classical shapes

  • Thanks for the comment. The exhaust looks weird because 2 of the pipes are missing. There are supposed to be 4 pipes with the Laser exhaust. I took 2 of them off to compare the sound/flow difference. I'll take another video showing the 4 pipe config and what it sounds like. Actually if you read the info to the top-right here it outlines all of this and a little more. Thanks again!

  • Beautiful looking bike mate!.. how did you do that to the rims? (step-by-step blows please)

And how do you stop them corroding once you have stripped the powder coating?

  • I have visions of doing the rear wheel with the bike in-gear and on the center stand while at 6k revs and using a chisel (aka Lathe style!).. hehe!

  • The mufflers slip on and are bracketed and bolted into place. Top and bottom pipes are the same diameter.

  • Hey. Had a post on here a while ago about having the same exhaust fitted with the factory pannier set.

Just got the same exhaust installed and couldn't be happier! Such a neat tone. And for anyone who is wondering if these exhausts will fit with the paniers I can tell you it is safe to do so. Mine fit perfect with enough room on all sides.

  • Nice~ but don't gun that throttle like that bro~

btw what kinda set of rims are those?

  • Thanks man! Those are stock 5-spoke rims with the lips hand polished. Did it myself. No worries on the throttle, I dont do this all the time. She was warmed up prior to the vid.

  • Please tell me about this fender eliminator you have on there? Looks great, the only options I could find fit the plate between the pipes, my LVs don't have enough room in between them to fit a plate so I need something similar to your setup. Thanks!

  • It's just the metal support that's under the factory fender. The plate's held on with really strong neodymium magnets that have held-up surprisingly well for 2+ yrs. If you want more info, there's some suggestions for fender elims on VFRD.

  • Thanks I will check it out, I had explored this possibility online myself (same username on VFRD) but couldn't find anyone who had done it, so I didn't bother unscrewing the fender assembly even though it looked like a feasible alternative. I will check it out as I think the stock fender is too massive. Any problems of water splashes when riding in the rain?

  • why u have only 2 pipes? i got a vfr 2003 with a laser from 2004 with 4-piped ... looks strange, maybe just because its not familiar to me ...

  • This was a 2-pipe test. Just posted it on here for comparison reasons.

  • Metalhedd, I had the same bike, I went to a zx-14.. you should give one a try sometime.. A lot of a similar feeling, just more of it.

  • I've liked the ZX-14 ever since it came out a couple years ago. I always looked at it as more of a drag-racin bike. Haven't got a chance to ride one yet, but I bet it's an experience to say the least.

  • The VFR was a nice bike. It felt a little heavy at low speeds and blew around a bit on the highway, but other than that pretty rock solid, good turn in. I found myself getting sick of the VTEC kick-in, I wished the bike would have the same sound all the way through and a bit more progressive power uptake. The 14 is a little longer, a ltitle lower, handles better at low speed IMO, and the power is progressive and perfect... And a bit more abundant. Same mileage, too. Seating isn't quite as nice.

  • Hey I have the same question if the pipes will fit with the factory panniers and top rack? I woul love to put these same pipes on. Awsome sound, awsome bike.

  • Your bike's my favourite man! I'm gonna buy exactly the same!

  • Thanks... it's a great bike.

  • Awesome sound I just bought the same exhuast!!Same color bike but I've got the factory hard bags top and sides .. I'm scared it won't fit but I've been told it's no bigger than the stock exhaust.. Did you have to remap the computer and get a powercommander?

  • The VFR does run lean to begin with so I would get the PCIII, just because it does a lot for this bike to make it silky smooth. It's not a necessary purchase since the bike is fuel injected, but you will notice some flat spots after fitting the free-er flowing exhaust and maybe a little harsher hit when the extra valves open up on the VTEC transition. The sound and look is amazing tho. Check my other vid to see what it sounds like with all 4 pipes.

  • Wicked exhaust man. Love VFRs. Just wondering though, what is that sound when your first turn the key on and the dash lights up? Sounds like an electric motor going for a second or to.

  • Thanks for the comment. The bike is fuel injected. That sound is the fuel pump priming.

  • I love that noise in the morning. I actually don't hit the starter until it has finished as it means the fun is about to start :)

  • Where did you get that windscreen? I've been looking everywhere for a silver screen.

  • Believe it or not... I spray-painted it. Windscreen got scratched up pretty bad so instead of tossin it, I sanded and painted over it. Started with a "chrome" finish. Not really chrome, but more of a silver as you pointed out. Then used a clear coat that was also a rattle-can type. Mask off the inside. You could also just paint the inside of the screen and get the glossy effect on the outside without the clear. It's totally opague, but you're really just lookin over it anyway. Thats bout it!

  • Sounds good, but the pipes look gay compaired to the originals.

  • There's one of "these" in every crowd.

  • One of "these people who have a different opinion than you". Suck ma balls bitch!

  • Your "opinion" about the sexual orientation of my bike's exhaust system not only shows how absolutely retarded you are but is completely unnecessary. I don't care if it's your everyday job to be a judge of gay-ness and the such... just keep it to your-damn-self. You see, it's called spamming/trolling when you don't and that alone makes your so-called opinion pure dogshit. I'm not done! Since you didn't get it the first time around, that is also WHY you are one of "those" people. Continued...

  • The kind that are all too prevalent in this world and bring to mind phrases like "waste of space" and "which village is missing it's idiot?" What really makes me laugh tho is how you call everyone else a "bitch" when in reality you were the one bitching the whole time! Finally, telling someone that would literally snap your neck like a pencil if you were talkin shit to their face to join you in an act that most would consider homosexual... well now that just says it all!

    /Rant Over/

    /PwNed!/

  • Hell yeah man! Tell 'em

  • Damn Homos!!

  • hahaha

  • That's one hot looking VFR dude. Laser make some nice looking cans. That looks great!

  • Sounds nice. Nice looking polished rims, too!

  • Dude. That sounds awesome!!!!! Sweet looking bike too. Nice One.
