I have a question. Are you just singing along to the pro-instrumental that plays on the defying inequality website or do you have one of those programs that removes the vocal from recorded songs? As far as I am aware (and I've been looking for some time ;-p ) there isn't any instrumental tracks from the actual show. There's defying gravity on defying inequality and No Good Deed was on the Wicked Tokyo website.

u are really amazing for not having voice lessons. ur vibrato is good and u dont sound airy or choppy. two suggestions: louder backtracks (minus bass) and louder vocals would make this video way better & i would also suggest that you take the key down a notch or two. this song is nearly impossible for guys to sing anyways, but a lower key always helps =]

Personally, the only way I could sing this in the octave that he is singing it in would be really really belting, which I can do. Singing an E or F above middle C (which is where much of this section of the song is) is extremely challenging for men who are basses with belt capabilities.

And again a supergood performance of DG from you :D the only thing you have to work on are you facial mimics. They don't look real. You have to keep a smile on your face, and when you sing any vovel think it was an "i". And the i has to vibrate behind your eyes ;) But you can sing perfectly and you have a strong voice ;)

You should pitch shift this so its in the key of Eb Major instead of Db Major.
It gives you a chance to belt.

he's singing it one octave below the normal key... an octave is eight notes, most people generally do have at least a 2 octave range lol
