Di maria is talented but I think he needs more time to mature as footballer...Ozil is like a commander on the field, because he dictates the tempo and makes great passes in the right time..players like ozil are rare to find..di maria on the other hand has great stamina and speed but sometimes I feel that he doesn't influence the performance of the teams and he uses his tricks in the wrong time...

He does one or two lucky moves or feints and then takes a dumb shot or an ugly cross. He wasn't very successful with assists or goals this season, which makes him a waste. Ozil, on the other hand, knows his role as playmaker and had the most assists for RM. Ozil also seems to think more, and has a lower mistake ratio.

Di Maria is a type of player that will play like Pele and Maradona combined for a game or two and will then play like the kids at my school for three games or so. During the last La Liga he assisted 24 goals and 13 already in this early campaign. Di Maria is amazing and he has a lot of drive and knows how to break through the defense but comparing both Ozil definitely contributes in many more ways than some others.

The press put most of the blame for the fail against Barca on Di Maria but Cristiano and Ozil had a bad game too, mostly Cristiano, he did nothing.
