I own an 03 Cobra myself but a Corvette C5 or C6 Z06 is much more superior. The 2 cars aren't in the same class. A vette makes some serious HP for an NA motor and it is 200 plus pounds lighter. If you notice in the video, it stops when the vette begins to pull on the Cobra.

The Corvette will ALWAYS be a tier above the Mustang. Vettes are SPORTS CARS, while Mustangs are pony cars hence they should be compared to other pony cars like Camaros not Vettes.
@iflyem3535 vettes are great cars but so are mustangs, especially now boss 302 outhandles vette grand-sport beats its time on laguna seca. 2013 gt500 runs mid 11's has a higher top speed than a z06 outdoes zl1 on track easily, it was never made to go for the vette but its doing just fine. comparing a cobra to a modded vette is not fair, but give the termi some respect, i mean it can handle 700+ hp from the factory with a blower swap and boltons its like the supra of the american car world

If you want to compare trim level to trim level. You would have to compare the GS to the GT, Boss to the Z06, and the GT500 to the ZR1. When I say trim level I am referring to build purpose. Not price.
That being said, if I needed 4 seats I would be pulling the trigger on the 13 GT500. As for the 200+ mph claim I'll believe that when i see it I am not sure that the GT500 is aerodynamic enough to hit 200 even with 650 HP. We'll though. If so great. Competition makes all future cars that much better!

I own an 03 Cobra myself but a Corvette C5 or C6 Z06 is much more superior. The 2 cars aren't in the same class. A vette makes some serious HP for an NA motor and it is 200 plus pounds lighter. If you notice in the video, it stops when the vette begins to pull on the Cobra.

@iflyem3535 vettes are great cars but so are mustangs, especially now boss 302 outhandles vette grand-sport beats its time on laguna seca. 2013 gt500 runs mid 11's has a higher top speed than a z06 outdoes zl1 on track easily, it was never made to go for the vette but its doing just fine. comparing a cobra to a modded vette is not fair, but give the termi some respect, i mean it can handle 700+ hp from the factory with a blower swap and boltons its like the supra of the american car world
