i think that everyone posting negative comments is forgetting that a pug is an animal. animals can act in defferent ways and have different moods, both any type of animal just like humans if annoyed can "act out" this pug looks like he is playing. nobody can judge these people by watching a 28 second video saying they are bad owners. and before anyone asks i have a pug as well so yes i know how they act. grow up and leave these people alone.

I play rough with my pug and when he gets happy and playfull he sounds like he is being mad or agressive but thats him playing. He is the sweetest little guy. You can also tell that the person holding the dog is playing and moving the dog around a little and when they let the pug go they were playing.

Look at her body language, it's aggressive and grabbing it from behind. I have a pug and in all its 13 years he's never gotten angry until a dominant dog tried to mount him from behind and he felt threatened and behaved exactly like that dog and is NEVER like that to me and I could act the same as that person but he wouldnt take me that way cus we didnt raise him that way, a dog's personality reflects the owner's energy.

That's one tuff pug! I have 1 now and have had 3 over time and yeah, they're mostly little butterballs that like to eat and sleep and play a bit...but depending on their personality you can totally get them to become butch, if you know the right buttons to push...they're still Canine lupus familiaris...wolf at the end of the day. This type of play is no different that a dominance test between other dogs. The pug is into it or else it would become submissive and pass on the play.

I've seen pugs do that when just playing. Pugs have trouble making the sounds to give their emotions due to all the gurgling. :3 Most pugs who want to play and 'wrestle' make that sound and will gum at your hand, but their tail wags the entire time... And every dog, like every person, has their own emotion. It has nothing to do with animal abuse or owner neglect. He's just grumpy that night. Maybe he didn't get enough sleep.
