Why can't parents understand that getting "involuntarily" admitted DOES NOT help one bit? Seriously. I'm sorry that this would happen to you- I've been able to dodge my parents' attempts successfully, since they're too "lazy" to go through with it.
How's your parents get a court order without you knowing?! Wow. That's freaky...
Definitely not a fun situation to be in. I've been committed to the county facility (almost the state, but thank God it didn't happen that way) on six different occasions over the years, and it's terrible. Hang in there hon.

mm had a similar experience being certified for my ED and put into hospitals public psych system. it was the first week and a half of my life. not only did everyone in there talk to themselves, but they continually asked me why i had a tube and wasnt eating. the nurses said that i didnt belong there. it was an experience im not keen to repeat. im so sorry for ur time spent there. but glad ur free to celebrate ur bday with ur husband and dog :)
