I am having same problem now...I'll start checking grounds 1st then move to ignition switch...99 silverado with 278030 miles..it came out of indiana facility...better than Michigan dope smokers plant
It ended up being a loose ground wire on my remote starter. Check all ground wires on things you have installed recently and clean the battery terminals. I've been told that a bad ground anywhere on the vehicle can cause problems like this. Hope you find your problem.

@anglitoestebancito i had the same problem.......burnt up my transmission as it kicks the tranny into safe mode. ended up being my ignition switch.
