I was so disappointed Joaquin didn't win an oscar for his portrayal of Cash in this film. His performance was superb - such a talent. Reese likewise but at least her efforts were recognised with an oscar. Together they made this such an enjoyable and memorable film. I am not a country music fan but I really loved the soundtrack. I have since listened to the original artists but I have to say I prefer Joaquin and Reeses versions every time.
