Mao really needs to learn some Russian to improve her communication skills with her coach. I really hoped she'd get rid of this program because I'd much prefer to watch Jeremy Abbott skate to this than her. This music/choreography does not compliment her. Where's the Mao I once adored??

I think her music is very messy for figure skating....and to try to choreograph a routine for it must've been hell....

I have korean background and all. but I think she's pretty and really good at skating too....she should try to find a better concept I think

im korean, but they have to stop thinking like NOONEs ever gonna be able to beat yuna kim... mao asada is very talented and the triple axel - toe loop combination definately beats a triple lutz trip[le toe.

i think the have the same value of points of 10 for each combo.

actually, mao's triple axel is in a combination with her hand up in the air which is more points than yunas combination.. especially if she gets extra points on grades of execution

I used to not like Mao, but it seems she's matured a lot. Her landings are like butter, and her posture and expression have improved a lot. I really think Yu-Na has the edge this season, but Mao can be a threat. (I hate this costume though)

Tatiana Tarasova, she may have been a good coach for many other skaters but definitely not to Mao! Mao is such a talented skater and the coach has lack of ability to bring out the best of Mao. In my opinion, it was a mistake to change a choreographer too. Watch Mao's old programs like "So deep is the night"(one of my favorite) -- so beautiful!! and many other programs suit for Mao so well. Please bring Mao back! ;(

I totally agree with you. She's not the right fit for Mao. The reason why Yuna is doing so well is she has good chemistry with her coach and I don't see that from Mao and her coach. No doubt that Mao has special talent but someone else needs to take care of her so we can see these young talented skaters compete in a higher level once again.

Mao shud drop her triple axcel. Not in the programs for the major competitions, at least. It's true, she'll get the wow factor over yuna for getting the 3A right. But that is only if she does suceed in 3A, Her 3As are not refined, not ready to be shown at the competitions. It's too risky. If she continues with her 3As, I'm afraid that she'll be downhearted with the results. Aside from her 3As, Mao has so much talents, y waste all her other talents over 3A? Come on.
