Thank you for the video......but you can change both HIDS by simply removing the the black plastic shield on top of the engine & the fuse box cover for the driver side. I did both HIDS in less than an hour. You can buy 2 Phillips (made in Germany bulbs on ebay for $60. Do it yourself & save !
Right and how exactly does a halogen bulb work in a socket that is completely different physically and electronically than a socket designed to use a High Intensity Discharge Bulb?
So glad I watched this and DIDN'T DO ANYTHING YOU RECOMMENDED!!! I watched the video response "Prius HID Headlight Replacement in less than 3 mins" and did mine in about 6 minutes, not bad for a first timer. Also, I decided that HID's are not that important to me since people are always thinking I have my Hi-Beams on, so I used a $10.98 replacement standard bulb, right off the shelf at my auto parts store.
I did this for $11, in 6 minutes. Bless the sweet lady that posted her video response,
I just don't get it! I've changed headlights before and it is not hard at all. But with this car, there are all kinds of shit in the way just to GET to the fucking things! Such a pisspoor design!
Good Video in the process of changing my lights out, wow you got them for only $49.99? I paid $125.00 for mine. Bumper is almost off. This how to video is coming in handy as I take the front off my Toytoa Prius apart. All this for a change of a stinking headlight bulb!. Hope its as easy to put it together. Thanks
