I am currently studying Lucier. For my assessment I have to suggest ideas that develop upon some of his innovations. Are you aware of Vespers? [f not google it!] My proposal, based upon that idea, was that a system could be designed that could help people deal with blindness. It's basically echo-location using high frequencies, similar to Ben Underwood (youtube him!).
