@CMDRFandragon I side with the cheating too... no apparent damage, and the impact on aerodynamics looks nonexistent. I'll say that the dude has a no damage mod of some sort. And yes the holes would've been large enough to fit a Storch in there :D nice comparison anyways
What I find really bad about most bombers or assault aircraft in IL-2 is the fact that their rear gunners are insanely accurate. They'll snipe you at long distances at high deflection angles even when you're going 600+ km/h. You have to attack from a blind spot, even when you're only up against 2 or 3 bombers.
Makes you think why they actually bothered with escorts if the rear gunners had been that effective (which they obviously were far from in real life)
Lol I agree w/ you on this one.....those rear gunners are beasts. They start jamming cannons, taking out flight controls and killing me at like 1.20 away. If you want truly bad ass rear gunners its on any of the PE2 or Pe3's My uncle, dad and I have yet to shoot one down cuz of that bad ass accurate rear gun
If you encountered this online, it was likely that the IL10 is using cheating mods, because I can't see any holes or damages on it.

I side w/ that IL10 was cheating, those mk 108s would have sawed off the wing and left holes you could have parked your plane in

Try The AI mod. It is up to version 3.0. It helps with that.
