This a suggestion that might make the play through more fun to watch and more challenging without being too difficult for you! In regular "Pokemon Hard Mode" you can't train your pokemon 4 levels higher than the highest level pokemon that can currently be found in grass. For example, If the highest pokemon you can find in the grass, anywhere in the game that is currently available, is a level 4 shinx, you cannot train your pokemon to be higher than level 8.

@Baudez I don't think it's that..I think it's because of how people think that he used Rare Candy's. I'm not saying that he did, but I'm not gonna say that he didn't either. It was obvious that on the episode where he had "grinded" a few of his Pokemon were at zero exp, which is what a rare candy does after you use it on a pokemon, after leveling them up 1 level.

@foxking39 those are all optional. the 2 main rules to make it a nuzlocke are 1. you must release a pokemon once it faints, as it is now considered dead. he didn't release them because instead he put them in a DEATH box, which is fine as long as he doesnt use them. and 2. he can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each area. if they faint or run away, there is no second chance.

those are the 2 main rules and anything else is optional to add to the difficulty
