Check your facts. Johnson would have still won the 2006 Championship by 4 points over Kenseth under the old points system. So he DID deserve that one. Yes the 2007 Chase eliminated Gordon's insurmountable lead and the 2008 Chase kept Edwards from winning, but it is what it is.
Many fans complained for a change after Kenseth won the 2003 Championship on just ONE win. Now some of these same fans are complaining that Gordon or Edwards were screwed. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
