One thing we know is that the purpose of our creation is not to know any deity or worship any god, as Muhammad said and his followers believe. This idea becomes even less plausible especially when we see that he never presented himself to his creatures and plays hide and seek.

Britain actually lost over 1,000 soldiers and police to Jewish terrorism from 1944-48. I find it particularly grievous that the events - save the few most spectacular incidents - remain largely unknown, and am sure that a significant amount of what little non-Jewish support for Israel there is here and elsewhere can be knocked out if more people learn of them. @ZEOtheguardian Being the brilliant person U obviously think U R, looks like U would have learned a long time ago, as most of the rest of the world did, that there will ALWAYS B Muslims who interpret UR religion differently & no ppl who do not believe N Islam want to live under Islam N any way, shape or form, & they shouldn't B made to do so. Until U learn these simple facts, Muslims will B fighting others & each other till the end of time. The truth shall set U free!

@FreedomLover4Ever I realize it is hard for you to accept that people will be brutalized because they said they accepted a new religion but, this DID happen. No one was forcibly converted. I will not accept such an ignorant reply from anyone. After all, the religion of God is one that has to be accepted whole-heartedly. If you want to talk to a few Muslims, talk to the Sufi Elders. I cannot emphasize this enough, especially because Muslims today can't even name 10 Companions of our Prophet[pbuh]

@ZEOtheguardian Even 2day, many ppl R forced 2 follow Islam. There R more underground churches N the Muslim world 2day than any other time N history. Muslims always forced others 2 convert 2 Islam in devious ways. Islam makes all "nonbelievers" 2nd class citizens & there R literally 10s of 1000s of letters "nonbelievers" wrote that clearly state how miserable it was to live under Islamic laws. Ppl seem 2 keep trying 2 make an authentic Islamic state but no 1 ever gets it right b/c its impossible

Of course, not immediately. You spoke of the Ridda Wars, in which many Muslims left Islam because our Prophet[pbuh] was not with them physically. They left faith because they said, "Our agreement was with the Prophet[pbuh]. That promise died the day He died."

@ZEOtheguardian If I talk to the ppl U have asked me 2, I will get UR truth & theirs & whoever else thinks as U do, but it is one of the most ignorant things 2 say only U have the truth. Of course U think that way, but every1 else who thinks differently than U do think they R correct, 2. So who R U to say U have it right? Of course they left after Muh died b/c they were no longer too afraid not to leave. This is the only logical answer. I'm not sure how U could say otherwise.

@FreedomLover4Ever Finally, don't even try to understand the laws of war in Islam. Because anything and everything I tell you, you will just refuse to accept. This is coming from a Muslim who knows what he is talking about. Try to understand what is the most basic law in Islam first. If you cannot accept that, there is no point in you and I conversing. Nor is there a point in you studying Islam.

@RGpbuh Terrorism is Islamic? Well many sats go against that, some reporting that 99.6% of all terrorist attack were done by NON-Muslims. And i'd disagree to even that- i'd say NO Muslim is a terrorist. The ONLY time violence is permitted at al, is through Self Defence. And even then, Islam puts rules and guidlines as to how we must fight. Muhammad even told the Muslims to not harm animals OR EVEN PLANTS at times of war (Battle of Badr). And Islam FORBIDS Muslims to start conflicts....

@RGpbuh [cont] And even in times of war, aggression is discouraged (Example: Ali the Lion of Allah, when he was spat at during the Battle of the Trench). And a Muslim shouldn't fight any women, or children, or anyone who seeks shelter, and those who ask for safety - a Muslim should protect them AND take them to a safe place. If an enemy seeks protection/safety, a Muslim should comply, and offer them protection. And Muslims are to ONLY attack those who are attacking them...

@RGpbuh [cont2] ... And a Muslim can NOT fight in excession. If someone slaps a Muslim, they can't go and break their arm or anything - the most they can do back is slap them... But even then, Allah says there is no reward/punishment for retaliating whilst sticking to Islam's guidlines, but if you forgive the aggresor - there is a great reward for you... And the verse you brought up (8:65) is CONDITIONAL. And i strongly urge you to read up on it, and revise the history behind it...

@RGpbuh [cont3] For more much needed context, read: 8:56, 58, and 61 (i recommend Quran dot com =]). 8:61: "And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah..." You see here that 8:65 is completely dependable on weather the enemy inclines to peace or not. AND 8:65 is totally dependant on 8:56 also. The Meccans exiled the Muslim, and charged many fuill blown attack against them. Muhammad made a Peace Treaty with them, in order to be able to do a Pilgrimage to Mecca...

What Muhammad then did, after the Meccans broke the Peace Treaty was, Muhammad marched towards Mecca, and various tribes of Muslims joined Muhammad along the way. Muhammad came to Mecca with an army 10,000 strong, he marched into Mecca and completely took over the place. But not a single drop of blood was shed.....

@FireSign27 - You are dealing with HISTORY, that repeats again and again in every culture. BUT here Muhammad made it into a relgion by copying from the BIBLEs. Simple as that.
BUT where is GOD in all of it.
When I read the Quran or even the BIBLE, the missing link is why you are here as humans not a cat or a pig, and who is GOD and what is our purpose to reach HIM or be created by HIM or must we reach HIM??

And Muhammad's prophethood was prophecised by Jesus in the Bible, and the Bible holds a few evidences that a Prophet would comes from Ishmaels Descendants. And Islam DOES provide all the answers we could need in this life. You've either not bothered to properly search for them, or you've not understood.

@RGpbuh [cont9] Allah created Angels, Angels don't have freedom of choice. Then Allah created Jin and Humans, who both have freedom of choice. And Allah ordained for us to live in this world as a test, to see if we'd go to Heaven(an eternity of pleasure) or Hell(an eternity of torment). Allah knew where we'd end up, but if he simply placed us there, we wouldn't know. This world is a test, but is also a means of Allah providing us with a chance to learn the ways of Heaven, and learn who we are.

@RGpbuh [cont10] Allah created all animals the animals on Earth in order to live alongside Humans, and to serve us Humans. We have dominance over animals by permission of Allah. Allah tells us that he created us to worship him, and our goal to reach Allah is to reach eternal peace. Allah (literally: The God) is the singular, allknowing, all seeing, allpowerful and all-loving Creator of the Universe, everything we know, and God knows what else.

If I ask a Buddist or a HINDU I might get a sensible answer or even a satisfactory answer. When I asked my Rabbi, he gave me the prefect answer no different from the HINDUS and Buddhist. Till NOW, I only have one single answer from Muslims - That is ' DO not question ALLAH'

@RGpbuh What i personally believe may be hard to explain without explaining other things, like pre-destiny in Islam and the details of why we're on this Earth. But i'll try anyways. Allah created us because he can, and because he loves us. We are special to Allah, just like everything else Allah has created. Allah loves every living thing atleast 70 times more than their own mothers. There really is absolutely no way for a human to come up with an 100% correct answer...

@RGpbuh Well actually you know very little about me and my mother, so don't jump to conclusions. And i didn't say my Mother's love is 70 times less than Allah. I said Allah's love for us is infinitely MORE than anyones Mother. I wasn;t downplaying the love of all mothers, i was emphasizing the lvoe of our Creator. And you are a fool to tihnk that the Creator of ALL Mothers loves us LESS than our Mothers.

Only God knows how much life there is in the Universe, or all places that exist. We, as humans, can only experienced so much on Earth, and Earth is vastly tiny compared to the Universe, and maybe even tinier compared to Allah entire creation. Our perception of the Universe is very limitted. Allah has encouraged us to think, and has given us Islam as guidance...

@RGpbuh [cont3] And so the answer that i have come up with is hard for me to explain, since i've put a lot of thought into it, but basically it all comes down to: Allah created us because he can. Allah created us because he loves us. And that the actual answer has much more depth, but human thinking alone can't comprehand the 'thought processes' of the Creator of all things, since our thinking is limitted to the experiences we have had, and the depth of thought which Allah has provided us with.

It is not true that religions were the first to introduce the concept of God to humankind. The notion of God is evolved with the intellectual capacity of human brain. People believed in spirits and assumed that behind every natural phenomenon there is a deity that makes it happen. There was a god for thunders, a god for winds, a god for fertility and a god for creation, a god for death and a god for birth. Gods were abounding and they were all the products of human’s imagination.

@RGpbuh Religions are simply sets of beliefs regarding the Creator(s) and Sustainer(s) of eankind, the Universe, and existance. The God of War, Death, Fertility, Thunder, Love etc etc are all Pagan Gods, which belong to the Pagan religion.

@RGpbuh [cont4] I feel like i've given an uncomplete answer. You should read Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 29. Similarly Allah loves his creation infinitely more than the creation's mother (i know i previously said 70, it's an Arabic way of expressing an explicibly large #). And a mother may tell herself, i'd love to have a child, and if the mother has a child, she'd want the child to follow her instructions and listen to what she says - instead of behaving disobediantly...

The mother may love the child so much that she wants to show her affection by giving the child everything it asks for. Well Allah cares about and loves us infinately more times than. And it shows. Allah tells us that he created us in order to worship him (follow his instructions), but then loves us so much as to promise us a Paradise if we obey Him. And saves his 99 parts of mercy for the successful...

@RGpbuh [cont6] To understand the 99 parts of mercy bit, youll need to reed the Hadith narration i refered to in cont5.. Well Allah will 'spoil' who ever successfully enters Paradise, infinitely more times than a mother could spoil her child. So Allah won't 'spoil' the people who don't deserve it, since usually when a mother spoils a disobediant child - the child only gets more disobediant. Allah created us because he's merciful and cares. He asks for so little, and is prepared to give so much..

@RGpbuh [cont7] And Allah gave us freedom of choice and many emotions, and put a forbidden tree in Paradise so that he could put us on Earth.. And on Earth, he gave us guidance, so that we would return to Allah having learnt about him, and having learnt about ourselves and others. So that we would truely appreciate and understand the gifts Allah has given, and will give. Allah doesn't NEED us, or pets, WE need Allah. Allah gave us many many things, including life, out of his mercy.

I don't know everything about Islam, no where close - i have must more to learn. I have done a decent amount of research though, but I'd be ignorant if I thought thought it was enough, and that i didn't need to learn more. One thing we know is that the purpose of our creation is not to know any deity or worship any god, as Muhammad said and his followers believe. The reason is simply because it does not make sense for a perfect God to create such vast universe in order to put in a tiniest of its planets a semi intelligent primate just to know him and to worship him. This idea becomes even less plausible especially when we see that he never presented himself to his creatures and plays hide and seek.

@RGpbuh Well, it's just as i said - the Human Rationale simply can't produce a 100% correct answer for why we were created. And Muhammad didn't say that our purpose is to not know any Creator, and not worship any God. It was rather the opposite, Muhammad taught us how to become CLOSER to our Creator, and taught us HOW to worship our Creator. But what really matters just boils down to facts and logic in the end...

So our Creator must have been one that possesses a higher power. And this world contains many beutiful tihngs, which it wouldn't if our Creator wasn't a loving and caring one. And the fact is - we do have freedom of choice and a free will..

@RGpbuh [cont2] So we can't be controlled by others, and our beliefs are our own - which others may happen to share. And the fact is, when freedom of choice exists, there is always the possibility of people comitting great evil. And the fact is that some people have existed, that claimed to be Prophets of our Creator, giving us teachings and guidance. And by logic, If our Creator is a loving and caring one, then such guidance should guide us away from comitting great evil.

@RGpbuh [cont3] And they do, specially the monotheistic relgions. I'm not so well versed on Judaism.. And althought Christianity contains some shady teachings (for example, what is taught in the Bible regarding Slaves), both Christianity and Islam aim to bring peace to a persons life. NO Religion tells a person to comit evils, and some religions possess more logic than others. Our Creator wouldn't be illogical. To find the truth, logic is essential.

@RGpbuh And what is illogical about believing that something that exists, has a Creator? What is illogical in believing that our Creator doesn't want us to act aggressively towards other creations? What is illogical in believing that we should help those less fortunate, and strive to be righteous, since our Creator loves those who are righteouss and treat others fairly? What is illogical in being submissive towards our Creator? Nothing is, infact i think it's illogical to believe the opposite!

@RGpbuh [cont11] All created us to simply worship him, and gave us the freedom of choice to choose wether we wanted to or not. He could have created us as Angels, who can't refuse Allah's commands. Personally i'm very greatful that God created me, and gave me freedom of choice, and put me on this Earth so i could learn more about me, and other, and what the customs of Heaven are, and how to avoid Hell....
