  • do naught use the elevators

  • Tommy Wiseau offered to do the voice evacuation message.

  • blue are not fire yellow means alert, red means emergency

  • I like how the strobe appears to "walk" down the wall. I wonder why it does that? Is it some kind of timing thing between the strobe and the video frame rate?

  • @xphobe The strobe is so annoyed, it's walking away.

  • @Voyage400 It's mad at the person who filmed it.

  • @Dys1970 Today when I was at Publix the fire alarm was yellow.

  • May I have your attention please? A fire emergency has been reported in the building. While this is being verified please leave the building by the nearest exits. Do NOT use the elevators!

  • FIRE LETTERS WRITTEN IN BLACK?! BLUE STROBE?!

  • DO NOOOOOOOOT USE THE ELEVATORS!

  • They should be fined A LOT, plus I hate the voice evacuation message (no offense).

  • What voice evac is that?

  • Why does he say NAAT!!!!! lol

  • He sounds really serious when he says "Do NOT use the elevators!".

  • two things why is the strobe blue? and why dose it look like someone wrote "FIRE" on it with a sharpie?

  • i dont know

  • Thats probably because the lettering IS put on the alarm with sharpie. The blue strobe is supposed to be used on alarms for general signaling, not fire emergencys.

  • y would someone write on a fire alarm with a sharpie?!?

  • Erm...they wanted it to say FIRE, they didnt have some letters they could stamp on it, so someone wrote on it with a sharpie.

  • it should come from the co with correct lettering

  • Well, it most likely DIDNT because this alarm probably does not have FIRE stamps.

  • so it is illeagle to do so to a emergency signeling device

  • I highly doubt it, if it is atleast 15 CD they wouldnt care.

  • On all the alarms that i have seen in all 18 years of my life, all the alarms have had a clear lense

  • the people who installed that system must be pretty cheap

  • did kids rite on it??????

  • :o ive never seen those befor... O_o

  • dude, someone at school sharpied some of the unmarked SpectrAlerts at my school, and the school got fined for it... two of 'em were my fault. i wrote 火 on them because i speak and know how to write a little japanese.

  • LOL, you are a bad man. Confessing to criminally damaging property online.

  • well, the japanese foreign exchange student were confused as to what the "flasher-things" were until i explained it to them.

  • Was that homemade????!!!

  • what the hell?

  • looks more like a security alarm speaker/strobe. normally blue would mean a security breach, transparent is anything, and red is fire. green and purple for gas/HAZMAT, and yellow/amber for general alerting.

  • Nowadays clear is fire 90% of the time.

  • @pivotous actually fire is white

  • Major code violation there! All the while though, too funny!

  • LOL. such a big emergency, such a happy voice! =D

  • Do NAAGHT use the elevators.

  • he does sound very seriose

  • the strobe isnt clear b/c the flash is too quick for the camera to pick it up; therefore the flash that u see on the camera is almost like an "aftermath" for lack of a better word

  • Fire letters written on the alarm in BLACK?

    BLUE strobe?

This definitely violates the fire alarm code!

  • @OrnAlert lol they wrote fire with black marker that's hilarious!

  • @OrnAlert How does that violate the fire alarm code?

  • @hyperbaricchicken101 It has a blue strobe, and they wrote fire on it, fire is suppost to be printed on it by a printer.

  • @TssCman123 I don't know why the strobe would have to be a certain color or the thing about the letters has to be that way. I know it's US codes but in my opinion as long as you can tell it's a fire alarm it doesn't matter. It's just stupid.

  • @hyperbaricchicken101 That is a point, but some buildings have sever weather, or lockdown, or sprinkler strobes that are also colored. Some people may be confused it there are colored strobes, and if you are in a tall building like Lowes, you will also not be able to read the letters on the devices.

  • @TssCman123 Yeah good point there. I didn't even know that.

  • @OrnAlert not rly , as long as it's visible and audible it stands to code

  • have fun with your big fine :D

  • Hey,

read the video description so you know that HE did not set it off

  • whoever wrote FIRE on the thing. Big fine for that

  • agreed!

  • ROFL that alarm looks funny ^__^

  • I think the Voice alarms are just to Laugh your ass off.

  • If I were your school I would sooooooooooo replace those before an inspector comes and fines your school BIG TIME!!

  • How much of a fine would they be looking at?

  • lmfao someone sharpied fire on it..

  • Suggest to replace it.. that's illegal the way it is

  • wow what a weird alarm
