People do not really understand Olive oil do they? In the old days they use to press the olives more than once. The first press was Extra Virgin, Pomace Oil is the oil that is extracted from the olive pulp after the first press. Anymore the presses are so efficient that there is only one press and all oil is extracted. It is simply foolish to attempt to buy olive oil made in Taiwan, China, or any other place that is not known for Olive Oil. I recommend California presses as they have standards.

I think it's a bad idea to put the aromatics in the oven. They are burnt, not tasty and unhealthy.
More fresh herbs in the can is a better idea.
