  • Nice!! ;D

  • the moon is moving very fast..

  • @D4n13lSsIsBack,

No kidding)) that's the problem with astronomy, basically.

  • Nice video.

But, this is not a 102mm on EQ3-2 instead of 120mm?.

    I think a 120mm it's too much for the EQ3.

  • @demianp2008,

    Thank you!

As mentioned in the description - it's 120/1000mm.

  • Nice capture !!!!!!

  • Just wow, and this can anybody do with a quite affordable equipment.

  • @farsk1,

Exactly!:) Imagine how cool it is to plug up your webcam in a telescope to your home PC and be sitting in a comfortable chair with a cup of coffee - watching a live translation of the Moon. If you're lucky to be living with a window facing right way.

  • Lovely! I don't even have such a good quality with such a big magnification. But I can't do prime focus : s I don't have a webcam and I would need a laptop as well (which I also don't have).

  • @krisDM3000,

That's okay, because a webcam I use costs less than 10euros. Taking it apart takes to unscrew just one screw. Then you place it on top of your focusing tube and start filming. Right understanding of weather and a reflector bigger than 114mm is plenty to be filming similar if not better quality video footage. It's a child's play!
