Excellent work, but you'll forgive my skepticism of Flandre ever being found in such a non-threatening position. She obliterated a comet before it hit the Earth, after all, and is a wee bit of a psychopath. Still, nicely done.
@VesperRin Sounds like a step in the right direction though. I dont like the difficult interface of photoshop, but surely drawing a figure accurately and well must be a more difficult challenge?
@charizardpal It's hard, for sure. Part of the problem is the interface; drawing with an electronic tablet and Photoshop just doesn't have the same continuous feedback as pencil and paper. (<3 my sketchbook~) The other problem is measuring. With line art, you can compare the ratios between an arm's length and thickness, or between the legs and the arms. Good line art has good ratios. With coloring, it's not so easy to measure where gradients begin, or how deep they should be.
@VesperRin Well a lot of people draw by hand and then scan the page and "trace" over it so that's always an option for preserving the proportions of a sketch. I've never tried it personally since its a lot of technical work.
