it wasn't ignored, you can't retreat when knocked down. Nice timing with the assault marines. Not many would of thought of doing that probably. Most would of probably jumped away and the nids would of moved.

I mean the way he pulled his marines out of the fire just in time, and btw if your opponent see the mark, he just have to hit the retreat button to avoid it.

Its true that orbital bombardment takes no skill in low level play and if you happen to use it on an enemy that isn't looking at the map. However that's clearly a majority of that guys units vs 1 a.marine squad and he uses the jump pack to lay them on there ass then orbital bombards. Takes quite a bit of timing, otherwise the guy would of retreated and never gotten those troops nuked.
