ha ha I had this game (and still do!) when I was 16, way back when. It's very addictive when you get into it. I was going to sell it recently, but popped it in the LT and found it to be a spritely, chunky, loveable but hard as nails shooter! Always went for the crazy long line, rarely made it to the other side, but when it works - da!
This is for sure a game to keep in the collection, even if you only pull it out every once in a while. Going for a crazy long line is very rewarding but also very risky, it just makes it that much more satisfying when you complete one though.
Awesome gameplay vid bossbossly. I must admit I'm very impressed with the graphics/sound for this version.. I have the GB version and I really suck at the it :P Playing this one might keep me going longer and hopefully improve my skills :D
if this was any closer to qix neo for the playstation it would be the same game but it seems to play exactly the same but seems much more easier. i just picked up qix neo new for ps1 not that i never played qix before
QIX had slipped my mind until I watched Ian's Mega Drive version video. After doing some more research it appears that Kaneko was developing for Taito in the early 80's which looks to be how the first Gals Panic game came about. Interesting stuff.
Nice, I just went and watched your video. In the MD version you don't die instantly if an enemy touches your line before it's complete, I like that. I'll probably pick up the MD version when I see it due to all the differences and how much I like the game.

It's a variation of QIX, which I have always found addictive..........

I've got this on the Mega Drive, interestingly the levels are different and the presentation is slightly. Great game though!
