  • @bobbyretro...no worries, man:) well todd is a great house producer, i love his early stuff ,the new jersey vibe. i cant tell in regards to his newer remixes as i havent heard them:) i am into moodymann, kerri chandler, spinna, blaze and others..if its good its good!! i suppose he jumped on the speedgarage thing just like todd terry did with the g.o.d series in the 90ties..i suppose he could kick up a vibe anytime he feels like it.

  • wow amazin...

  • Well not instead of Rap. Just as a deviation from it, because in the end it all goes back to the root which is Tempo click click click pop

  • Good tune!!!

  • good stuff

  • the flow's just amazing

  • ٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶ ٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶ ٩(̾●̮̮̃̾•̃̾)۶

  • @bobbyretro-- what would you call it, btw? disco ITS NOT.

if u were djing in the 90ties you would know why its labelled as uk garage. but it doesnt matter-todd has done some good stuff but they all sound the same after a while. no offence meant.peace.

  • @fme67 I would call it House....I dj'ed in the 90's when they held events in nightclubs with the headline ''House & Garage'' ...Alot of his stuff sounds the same...What do you think of his newer stuff? like remixes for Matthew Dear,Spank Rock etc...Do you like that sound? ...oh and i didn't mean to come across as a bit douchy!

  • speed garage

  • @miltonatchet with a catchy beat and tight chords

  • when this came out in the 90ties;it was called the uk Garage sound, this aint disco.

  • @fme67 This isn't a uk garage tune....Uk garage dj's just decided to play his music in their sets 'coz they liked his style of production.

  • Used to play this all the time... like Southern Style funky house... Todd Edwards is a wicked producer... the dub mix is just as good

  • im just glad i remembered this track got it now

    o its on baby

  • Good God - this still sounds amazing. Groove, hook and idiosyncratic use of vocal that makes this stand out as a classic. And don't get me started on the dub!

  • This is a TODD EDWARDS remix, please add that in the title, the guy deserves some acknowledgement seeing as its been viewed over a quarter of a million times.

  • simply luv it ....it's st germain!!:D

  • This is Nu-Jazz, aka future jazz, in other words, the good shit that you can chill to

  • Sample is Stranger Here by Lightin' Hopkins

  • Todd Edwards in the mix!

  • Yesss frenchy fantastic tune!

  • It's a brilliant tune, I heard it on many fashion shows for many years!

It might sound stupid, but thanks to fashion idustry, this tune won't be forgotten for many years still to come, by simply encouraging many enthusiasts who keep it going!

Sounds a bit like it's got the same kind of structure as ROOM5-Make Luv

  • St Germain bring this to another level - fantastic

  • jesus christ is it from 95? but deep house hasn't really changed that much??

  • COCORICO

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! 1995

  • I LOVE THIS

  • stunning song!!!! love todd edwards!

  • the music of st germain that very good

  • FRESH AND ALIVE. VIBRANT. TIMELESS. brilliant imagery. well executed and well thought out

  • more like alabama house

  • @arehumansgood and I'm from Alabama (although I now live in NYC)! Too bad for me because most where I'm from don't know jackshit about house. Fuck that Lynark Skynard shit!

  • Love it, a classic...

  • always flawless.

  • wicked classic todd man FUTURPROOF tune init?

love it forever wont ever forget this tune oh childhood yeah this will shit on rap all day long

  • kinda like the rebirth of disco.....anyone agree? or is this a sound from sometime beyond its time. some kind of interstellar existence of super-smooth technology. i'd rather hear this than rap. no?

  • sometimes i feel the same, like disco music died in the 80s but reincarnated into house music of this century

  • @dimviesel its called UK HOUSE MUSIC

  • @1l1keg1rls

well, if you wanna get technical, Todd Edwards (who produced this mix of the song) is from New Jersey, USA. he pretty much single-handedly pioneered the sound that would later be co-opted across the pond and evolve into what we now call "UK Garage."

  • @1l1keg1rls I LOVE IT

  • @dimviesel great song. One should not have to choose a genre exclusivley, check them out with some rap with some blue grass with some gospel with some metal I mean do u and dont be confined. Thats actually what this song is about. Breaking away from racist Alabama or rather that box.

  • @dimviesel speed garage man

  • @dimviesel What do you call rap? the stuff on radios and the media is not hip hop. This song was actually made by using the hip hop technique of sampling. just do some research on actual hip hop artists and you will find connections with Uk Garage

  • @sponserdsk8ter youre preaching to the choir over here trust me. ive been a junglist for over a decade now and recently started a major house buzz in my area. all there was was the rap and top 40, i began spinning complete house sets and got a big following. i know all about speed-garage and the U.K. sound. i also dig paris and newyork's deep house. besides i was drunk as hell when i made that last comment(^_^)

  • @dimviesel sounds gud :-)

  • this is deephouse man.

  • now i play it at parties

  • i'v been hearin this since i was 3

  • have yall heard the remix (fire).
