me too. i have a 730i e38 with no satnav in. Could i fit a similar unit to yours in mine. mine is a 1995 model. Where did you get it from and were did you get it fitted?

you can add factory navigation to any e38.  Just depends on how big your wallet it. Parts are not cheap. I gathered most parts from ebay, and junk yards.
