Hi Mike: Have you looked at enhanced video that you shot? The amount of debris is unreal and it looks like you got footage of some of the victims too. So sad.
Thank you Mike for your humility. Through your humbleness to the Almighty, you saved a lot of souls that very day. Jesus showed his Glory through your prayers.
@RickyRescue00 Hi Ricky you could hear some of the Tornado sirens on the Brookwood, Vance side of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County... Unfortunatly, the way the tornado hit City of Tuscaloosa, it took out the Emergency sirens for most of downtown, that is why you hear so many Emergency vehicals scrambling to alert people to take cover, they had to go Old School that day with the ER system taking a direct hit. (Renda) Alabama
This is the most educational and horrifyingly interesting video of the Tuscaloosa supercell out there, in my opinion. Thanks so much, Mike for capturing the start to finish of this beast; and at the perfect angle, too. That jagged lightning strike at 25 seconds is INTENSE (not to mention ear-splitting to those caught under it too, I bet).
My only question is, what caused the bottom of the supercell to condense into those small but thick funnel-shaped edges before it fed into a wall cloud?
poor peeps.. id hate to be in that. Its huge after a while. was the lightning lou. i dont like loud noises. lol. i feel sorry for the people who didnt make it. plz pray its so sad to see this :'(
This is an awesome video!! Thanks for posting it!! It crazy how fast it was nothing and then boom there it is right in front of you about a mile wide!!
Thanks for having the forethought and patience of capturing this storm as it grew. This footage will live on in infamy as one of the worst storms to hit the southern US.
wow, it grew quick. this video and another from the mall are the best i have seen. As I said to the other, glad you were not hurt and were able to capture all this.... just sad the loss of everything including life. heard about it on the news, and now being able to see how bad it was....im sorry this happen to everyone there.
I cant even imagine what your families are going through. my thoughts are with you all. We live in Dayton, TN and my video shows the devastation that happened there in the mountains...
Very good. A lot of detail about the development and life of this tornado. And lucky for you that it wasn't rain wrapped and that you didn't get large hail during any of it.

There are no words to describe the footage you have here is nothing short of Amazing. Nature got caugth this time. Wow a lot of people will study this.
This film is evocative: so many narratives. The oh so skilled photographer, having selected a place of fantastic light for a dramatic image, and in more ways than one being overwhelmed by the situation. Thank you. To edit would be to destroy the ImageSoundStream.
