Apparently the boar bristle brush is supposed to be a gentle brush for your hair as long as it's 100% boar bristle. Well when I was starting my journey a lot of people said that was the best brush too use. I am actually too scared to use a brush (even after 4 years). A lot of people like denmans too, I guess it's personal preference. But I think boar bristles are gentle but good for smoothing hair down.
