I'm sorry, but how one as famous cellist as Mainardi, can play it as slow? I'll never trust, what at the time of Boccherini, they played this music in same tempo... seen the technical difficulties of Boccherini works and what he was a sort of "yo-yo ma", mean: world number one cellist of 18th century don't tell me, he wasn't abble play his own works in it's tempo, mean: Allegro!

@cellofacir Diese Information ist nicht richtig! Mainardi war ein Meister seines Fachs und wusste um das richtige Tempo der zu spielenden Werke. Ein Tempo, in welchem man die Details noch erkennen kann (nicht wie heute, wo sehr viele Musiker alles ZU schnell spielen, nur um ihre "Virtuosität" damit zur Schau zu stellen).

Mainardi hatte dies nicht nötig und stand damit ganz im Dienste der Musik und der Komposition!
