  • would you tell us more the design and the software or the circuits are being employed here in your experiment? Can you show us the link in your description? please, so we understand more of your work.

  • That sounded like rain

  • @vidamvinyl Idiocy, not idiotism; the latter is not a word.

  • fucking white ppl man they dont know shit!!

  • @S1eepingDemon666 I gather that you happen to be a negro?

  • Fringe! Where is Walter when you need him.

  • pvc+2x4+laser pen = quantum tunneling device. good to know if i ever need one.

  • Hmm well you are the person who misspelled "pretty"...

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STUPID!LMFAOLMFAOLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FOR SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS TO A SCIENTIST THIS GUY IS PRETY STUPID U WILL GET THE SAME RESULT WITH BLOCK OF CONCRETE OR BLOCK OF ICE!WASTE OF YOU TUBE

  • @TheJazoD I'd like to see you come up with a better theory haha. this guy actually has the smarts to come up with something like this. HE has a theory it might not be right it may be right but at least he tried and cam up with an answer all you're doing is sitting on the computer on your ass probably being a douche bag. you should come up with a better theory. His theory actually has logic if you have any understanding of quantum physic science.

  • I imagine the guy would get the same result with the laser turned off and the photo detector turned on..It's probably safe to say that the photo detector has its own inherent noise due to the circuitry it's connected to, especially when you crank the gain up!

  • i have absoloutly no idea what they were doing but he put a sine wave on top of a noise wave, thus creating a bullshit sound which means nothing sorry

  • Zero scientific method here. For one, you are playing back a jpg image file which has embedded data on top of compressed detail data which would normally represent colors in an image. You are not using a file format which is designed for raw data collection.

On top of that, your device is completely useless in the environment which you used. Any small amounts of photons breaching the wall would be lost due to outside interference from, for example, the sun.

  • not very good dubstep

  • There are some photons that goes trough the wall all right. Say 1 from the 10 power of 10... I can't see youre 1 billion dollar single photon detector, or you borrowed it from CERN? ;-)

  • Reminds me of alleged EVP recordings. I wonder what it would sound like if it was sped up and filtered a bit more?

  • Omfg this people are fucking idiots !!

  • little time needed only your theory will be succesfull..

  • at 00:54 I thought that was a canyon then we he put the thing on it i was like WTF? LMAO then i realized it was just a wall.

  • sheeeeeit

you could hear my farts them there?

  • The fact that many people laughed at Galileo doesn't make any laughable theory right. BTW I don't think anybody actually laughed at him, he was called a heretic and that is not latin for comedian.

  • To my limited knowledge light is very hard to squeeze and stretch so the laser would be affected maybe only by the sound of a black hole's fart. Imagine the amount of beans or cabbage needed.

  • WTF IM SCARED

  • light doesn´t contain eny particles. the only thing a laser can do is to generate some acustic interference by heating the clay and induce temperature diffrential in the air.

why do everbody think a laser is a time machine? what the guy did was to record some noise. the dopler program is just the same as you can do in eny audio program by slowing down the speed of the sound. if you take light reflections of wall and play it as sound, it would sound like random noise.

  • @coldarc Uh. . .what? Ever hear of photons, genius?

  • @Shran1970 if light contained photons it would have mass. if light have mass, it time dilate, and therby the speed of light will vary depended on the frame of reference you are in, and einsteins SR have to be discarded as false. i wonder why nobody understood einsteins special theory of relativity? its so simple. einsteins photons was a mistake and was not needed to explain photoelectric induction. solar cells are rectifier diodes on a surface made in small junctions like crystal diodes.

  • @Shran1970 if light moves as waves, light can align a certain amount of electrons into a field. if light is made of particles, only a few electrons will move dependent on the kinetic momentum of the particle. the problem is that electrons is not at rest. they are just disorganized. even if you move many particle theoretical with photons, if the electrons have no coherence, they win not move as a current. it will not work. electric currents can only conduct when electrons repel each other.

  • toxic2k7 your right i seen that on tv before they said it could be a dinosaur walking though your living room and you won't see it and it won't see you. It makes me wonder about deju vu. Like why we always feel like something happend before?.........mmmm i wonder a lot of things. In other dimensional worlds i wonder what i'm like there ?and who i am? who i'm dating?lol just a guess.

  • i really believe in parellel universes and everything it stand for so happy that other believe in this as well.

  • @clarissa21pink some scientists have said it exists in this very space we live in now. like we see it as some door and you go through it into another place, but its not its linked to time travel and how it solves the 'Grandfather Paradox'. its too complicated and too long to explain on here but you should research it, its real cool.

  • @toxic2k7 so yor sayin as i'm sitting here on my lab top a person could be next to me and i don't see them and they don't see me, because we're both in two different dimension?

  • @clarissa21pink yeah along those lines. they said that sometimes the particles in the air collide with each other all the time from different dimentions but they are so small and so fast that we cannot see them. inbox me and i will try my best to explain in detail.

  • Seems like we've got noisy neighbours in the universe next door. Any chance you could nip over and ask 'em to keep it down?

  • what is wrong with certain people commenting bullshit on other peoples videos? i mean i just think you are just pure lazy, sitting around being worthless WAITING for explainations of things. and you have the balls to say ''wheres the proof?'' heres an idea, why dont YOU go out, have some fun trying to find shit out for yourselves, and when you THINK you have found something out, share it with others and when they tell you its bullshit, see how you feel...

  • @toxic2k7

Im With You Right There Mann...

  • @toxic2k7 Amen!

  • *cough*bullshit*couhg*

  • I was embarassed listening/watching this video.. had to put my headphones on so the rest of my family didn't hear this BS. lmao I saw a video once, of a guy claiming to have a PM machine.. but when scientific communities tested it, it didn't work lmfao, it looked like it was legit (by data, not looks/build) but, they found out that he rigged it.. and tested it again, it was a complete waste.

  • Erastothenes measured Earth's circumference with sticks and shadows (and a guy who was paid to measure the distance between two cities that were 800km apart). According to Sagan anyway.

  • Sounds like the engines on the mining ship Red Dwarf.

  • that sounds like Doppler noise, with the noise removed......

i can do the same thing in audacity

  • John, I fail to see where this is "proof" of parallel universes.Physics at least has some math behind it.This is just noise which quite frankly could come from countless sources.

  • Although, I am a bit saddened by the fact that GoldWave is or has been associated with this sort of stupidity. There are many such stories where people use nothing more than GoldWave to filter out and make audible all kinds of "mysterious" or even "alien" sounds "from the space" or "FROM A PARALLEL UNIVERSE". They give a bad name to a great software. Anyone here ever used GoldWave? You should definitively try it, it's shareware.

  • He's actually using GoldWave for sound processing! Good choice! Way to go GoldWave! It's a very good software, and that's what I began with when I started editing sound files on the computer. I don't use it anymore, because I have moved on to using Steinberg WaveLab instead. I later discovered other great alternatives as well such as Audacity to mention one. But GoldWave is my single most favorable audio software I ever used. And it beats Audacity and at some point even WaveLab.

  • A quantum tunneling instrument..... No such thing exists, nor will it in your lifetime. Well your "perception" of your life if you want to talk parallel universes. If it did it wouldent be in the hands of some random park ranger. You got plywood nailed together with a PVC pipe strapped to it supported by a brace bar.

  • Cool Halloween sound effects... O_o

  • I just finished building my quantum tunneling instrument, but then I spilled grape soda on it and the whole thing shorted out.

  • In answer to your question... No. This is not "proof of sound from a parallel universe." What does that even mean anyway?

  • crap video..guys created jsut rndom sounds using goldwave software

  • He only changed the pitch of the 'noise' with his p.c. Other than that, nothing to report. A shame. Oh, well ,back to a rather precosious South African white wine....................

  • We from Voodoo, Santeria and Candomblé know, we operating with the 4 Dimension, and more.

  • What a fucking useless bit if info!

  • no it was not ,we can now find out who pees on my wallof my garage.

  • HOLY SHIT! The aliens obviously left us this message in the dirt wall that was obviously over 200 years old! HOLY SHIT 200 FUCKING YEARS! Its proof i tell you!

  • Hey ....com-on you guys ....that was clearly a parallel universe playing some sick ]v[ETAL riffs on the guitar ....in parallel universes "everyone" rocks out....didn't you guys ever see Bill AND TED s excellent adventure ....jeezuz!!!!!!

  • 1st of all he would have to test the waves before entering. And switch between observed & non- observed results. None of these would be conclusive to any set time frame or compiled history in the complexity of the space/time continual. They would still be inconclusive by mainstream science as we are still in the stone age with carbon dating methods of Darwinian Paradigms & twitchy shareholders calling the shots on everyones reality with untested results.

  • Its Earth's electromagnetic field, Humans can retreive the information. He tried to record the past through cognitive matter. I dont see the point when humans are capable of ESP. Which impliments the M-theory. Dimensional viewing through a laser is still unknown technology. & does not carry emotions. And freewill instills infinite possabilities. So a time span in the past is actually in the future quantitatively as your antimatter self is your duality. EVERYTHING has a positive & negative.

  • not that this has any validation but this would've made more sense in the dark...

  • err..no

  • Didn't they use that effect in Dr Who? But seriously, I can't imagine this guy's equipment was SO sensitive as to distinguish every tiny irregularity, and then he somehow filtered out every bit of noise from the environment (with his PC!) after sticking a sine wave in there - and came out with a creepy noise. Clever chap, but so damn stupid!

  • whaaaahahahaha

  • yes, I would like my 4.31 minutes back also. John, find another hobby

  • Were it not for men like John Sefik, willing to continue on his quest, to answer his burning questions, we may never have had any inventions you all take for granted. How about the first bicycle? The first airplane? The first space flight? John's discoveries may someday provide the means for geologists to look into rock to detect gold and silver veins, or other precious commondities in the earth. And who's to say what a parallel universe is comprised of?

  • He is brilliant.

  • I'd hazard a guess that this guy is the genuine real McCoy Mall Ninja!

  • WHoa, when I played this one my cat freaked out!!

  • should be called "fucking around with ambient noise"

  • Comment removed

  • Well, what he recorded actually wasn't sound but the fragments of that laser that managed to get through, transformed into sound... He could just as well have showed you a graph containing a big orange image with some very small blue points in it that would indicate the "parts" that travelled through other dimensions ;)

  • This is the dumbest shit ive ever seen.

  • WOW! I mean WOW! So tat's what a wall sounds like huh? Damn you! I want 4 minutes and 31 seconds of my life back now!

  • I'm mall security....some like to refer to me as a mall cop......or for short a cop, but i'm really just hyping up my life as a nobody so, for a brief moment, I will feel like a somebody.

  • baahahaha thats RICH

  • lol sounds like music from a horror movie.

  • OK, I'm fairly sure that a major point of the Many-Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Physics is that the different worlds would not be able to communicate in any way? Someone fill me in here!

  • What a crock of shit.

  • LMFAO

  • Whoa! I got an idea. try to speed up that sound but try not modify the pitch. Someone's talking or screaming. At least i heard someting like that, but it was too dense. Like you play simultaneously 5-6 songs of music, like all what happend since the wall is built, it consumed all the sounds what sounded near it.

  • Sound, and waves of any kind, can't propagate trough universes I guess...

Too complex to explain it here, just believe me they can't.

  • i thought gravity particles could propagate from universe to universe

  • some1 knows which piece of software he is using for his noise reduction etc.??

    cheers

  • Goldwave

  • thank you

  • i like the idea of deamons having a party and makin popcorn

  • -.- how would you beable to hear something that not there a there may be a nother univeirs and all that but that doesnt mean here on earth even if there were how would you be able to pick up the sound that you cant see you wouldnt be able to take away the sound from the protons of our magnet field thats most likely what the noise is not demons making pop corn

  • Tell me... WHY and WHAT gives you the idea that this could possibly be from a parallel universe? By what scientific basis?

  • so he has a machine that can gather individual open photons.. hate to tell you but you that would not be able to filter the photons from a single dimension that is just random sound. of course i may be missing something if I am please fill me in. But This is an interesting idea but it is like saying you can make a nuclear explosion out of household materials. If I were a gullible tourist I might laugh for a couple seconds this is so incomplete. Im happy he wants to know something but this =BS

  • This is such crockery. Guys please don't believe this is actually science.

  • @metabog Actually this is the very definition of science. According to the scientific method, you form hypotheses, collect data, analyze that data to see if it supports your hypotheses, if not, then either new experiment, or new hypotheses, until you either find something that supports it, or definitively disproves it. This is what he's doing, proposing that some of the photons tunneled through the wall which is not out of line with quantum theory, collecting data, & analyzing it, so I disagree.

  • @Stentor7 Yes, you are right, that is the definition of an experiment. But this is the equivalent of me doing an experiment to see if, say, the Universe speaks! I point a radio telescope at the sky, and I get random noise. Then I add a doppler effect (wut?) and maximize it until it clips, and listen to it (as sound no less). And, amazingly, I get a clear, changing pitch. Wow, the Universe is singing! Either that, or it's the doppler effect I added for no real reason.

  • @metabog I'm not a physicist, I study acoustics and signal processing, so I can't say anything about photons or quantum tunneling, but the way he processed the signal really doesn't make any sense, and he's not telling us how exactly he captures the signal, and what it represents. And, as far as I know, quantum tunneling is noticeable with very very thin barriers, not thick, dense walls.

  • I see two problems with this claim.

    1. Do to the thickness of the walls the number of tunneling photons would probably be undetectably small.

    2. There is no theoretical bases for concluding that this sound is from a parallel universe.

  • duh, its obvious. its a miracle from god

  • No. You can get about the same thing using white noise as the source.

  • it sounds like mednetic fields bumping into each other

  • sounds like a demon is makin some popcorn

  • it sure does.

the demon seems happy towards the end perhaps his/her popcorn finished

  • Why does he need a freakin laser to get photons into the rock? Normal daylight contains photons aswell. He uses radio waves, which is unfair, because it just puts waves into sound. It's like infrared, showing red and blue to mark temperature, while it's actually in white and black.

  • because maybe in the laser they are more concentrated?

  • hmm, to my opinion it shouldn't be much of a difference.

  • very interesting, good luck with your research,we have only touched the surface.

  • Well, now we know that they can make popcorn in a parrallel universe :P

  • haha! you made me picture little grey guys munching pop corn at the cinema and laughing!

  • WE HAVE BRAND NEW UPDATES ON THIS LOOK FOR THEM ,,,, JUST THOUGHT YOU ALL WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THIS.....YOU WON'T HAVE TO LOOK VERY FAR YOU ALL HAVE PCs NOW.......

  • You know what I don't get someone drops a rock and society says doomsday is coming...

  • haha, nice try old man.

and why do they have to go to a canyon? maybe to avoid public ridicule?

  • I'm unsure which is the sound coming from from a parallel universe. Otherwise great video.

  • I like what he does, and what he is trying. But I am not so sure he can even tell what he is listening to, even if it were from a parallel universe. There is no baseline showing what a normal photon would sound like, if you heard it to begin with. How does he know even one photon actually did make it though the wall? I challenge him to use the same sound filtering on a recording with no lazer at all. I'm betting he gets the same results. Good work though, maybe you onto something.

  • People laughed at Galileo and at those who thought the earth a curved sphere. Many can laugh but few are brave enough to seek out answers. Too bad there are so many armchair critics here and not enough curious humans. Just because the title says that doesn't mean that's what his research is about. More applause for the creators please.

  • Good point. if ya ask me it sounded a little like classical music with alot of static. but otherwise it's pretty cool.

  • Agreed. People like him are those who had gotten us out of our caves.

  • @bluelotuspetals and most people go round using religion in arguments because they have no knowledge what so ever. Just the easy way out

  • Is this proof of sound from a parallel universe?

No. No it isn't. Stick to your park guide day job.

  • biggest bullshit ive ever heard of

  • In respone to gumbiman24: I mean it like this: This experiment is just BS

  • Its true, in fact if the guy used his "head" instead of the "wall" OMG we could hear his thoughts ! look it works like this=

    h^nr/mc*1/2 = p then mcr¬2*s = E/c2*x

    oh yes I found ! I found ! I found!

  • This is bull for a very simple reason:

Sounds (Distortions of air) can't move through more than the 3 dismensions that we ourselfves move in

  • well thats bull, because of 2 very simple reasons:

sounds travel through not air, atoms. that in mind, then it can travel through anything that is a form of matter.

and also, sound travels through more then just that, because of the 4th demention of time, if it didnt travel through that, then we wouldnt be able to hear anything. duhhh =]

  • I wish I could Make something out of PVC and 2x4 and distort the sound into something cool and call it science. I guess I'll have to keep smoking the weed until I think of an awesome idea like this. and BTW, that's not how QED works. While you're standing around waiting on your "experiment" to finish up You should just eat dirt you're standing on and see if any trapped dinosaur "memories" go to your brain. And then after you come back from the Acid flash back you can tell us what you "saw".

  • He had to do this experiment at Chaco Canyon? Why did he go to Chaco Canyon? It looks like this experiment could be done anywhere at anytime. Does this experiment have a conrol? What is it we are hearing? Where does the parallel universe fit in to this? I'm just confused.

    My head hurts

  • IMMA FIRIN MY LAZAR!

  • hahaha this sucks... What makes you think that sound comes from another dimension? I could record some random ambient noise at my flat, then filter it with a software and make it sound like that... it doesnt proof anything.

  • quantum tunnelling device LOL!

  • A question to jsefick; is the quantun tunneling instrument recording sounds recorded in the wall like a record has sounds recorded on it, or sounds directly from parellel universes where the structure is still inhabited.

  • interesting, i wouldnt mind having that program, anyone know what it is?

  • Stop these men. They are getting too close to those from the parallel world. I am sorry, this is is the wrong video. That sound is "Theme From

    The Alphacentaurians". Everybody, hum along.

  • got to love goldwave

  • i agree with what people are saying

i would very much like to understand why you had to do your experiment there... and not just in your house

and what does it have to do with parallel universes.

    i see you doing stuff

but i dont know WHY you are doing stuff.

  • Its called experimentation, its how all things were discovered, and what you do if you dont get drunk and watch TV every night.

  • Grudgy... O_O

  • ....quantom tunneling basicly means solids can pass thru each other... this is just a sub atomic scale and is useless as you can see...this is nothing beneficial that has come from it.

  • I hate Pseudo-Scientists....Just putting Science and Religion together and insult both this way...poor

  • Thank you! Thank you!

  • Science is changing & evolving. Some people who left comments here are obviously not doing up-to-date research. Google 'Parallel Universes Exist: Oxford Study Says'.

  • you totally misunderstood physics...

    1. quantum tunnelling is never seen in macro-sized things like a wall. 2. it's part of the definition for "parallel universe" that NO interaction whatsoever occurs with our world. In conclusion your efforts are worthless unless you want to keep your wife going along with you pretending to have an important thing to do, funny but sad.

  • your statement: "I hoped that this video would get people to say "I can do better". "I can develop a better experiment" but sadly I see no low budget experiments out there on Youtube. People complain but do nothing. atement

  • God where did you your research? Please refer

to this experiment on Goggle. "Quantum Tunneling on Your Kitchen Table"

  • no actually you just don't understand physics

  • LSD

  • sounds like he just slowed it down

  • GoldWave Yay!!

  • I hoped that this video would get people to say "I can do better". "I can develop a better experiment" but sadly I see no low budget experiments out there on Youtube. People complain but do nothing.

  • You sound like a fkg parrot - the more I watch your videos the more I think you have no idea what you are talking about - if you do perhaps you could share the secret instead of treating viewers like idiots - for all we know you're the fkg idiot.

  • .. your research and videos would be soo much better recieved if you actually explained WTf you were doing and wtf it had to do with a paralel universe. information in the wall? information about what? why is this wall so special? why can't you get this information from a wall in your house, or any other solid object?

  • .....how did that have anything to do with a parallel universe...

  • Most of the electrons didn't make it through you said. Why would "bleeding" be so abundant that you could pick it up here. You actually need a more consistent way of doing this, otherwise no one will take it seriously. And if you don't care about people taking it seriously or not, then no one is offended.

  • You can put theese effects on any noise and come up with basically the same sound.. No proof of anything..!

  • Quantum mechanics also accepts that all information is everywhere at all times and is only organized into coherent data when it is being observed. What your doing is akin to drawing an optical illusion and asking whether or not it is proof of a 4th dimension.

  • A quantum tunneling instrument?

    Is that balsa wood?

  • lol

  • Creepy, reminds me of Event Horizon with Sam Neil. Great movie.

  • It's just sound waves traped in the material being picked up by the photons, Ligth has wave and mass properties so it should disturb soime electrons in the iron and dirt mixture.

  • Why do people think that anything that sounds weird is a parallel universe? if you filter a duck's quack just right, you could get that noise!

  • exactly. stick a fart through a vocoder and you get the same resuts.

  • sounds awesome. I wish it was true...

    Or IS it? *twilight zone*

  • What you hear is nothing but the resonances of the thousands of FILTERS used by the noise-reduction algorithm...

You could put ANYTHING into it and still get the same "result"...

  • Well if that were true the sound produced would be the same for where ever in the experiment the sound was acquired. This was not the case.

  • and the result was????????????????????/

  • I think a photon is energy and is perfactly capable of transfering information wither it is visual or sound. In fact this is how we get our TV sound from electons in our fiber optic TV cables

  • Sound does not travel via "photons." It is a wave of energy traveling through a medium such as gas, liquid or solid.

  • Actually it's a boson(force particle), a base particle. But your reasoning is still correct.

  • alieny

  • 3:21 sounds freaky

  • testing

  • dude, i LOVE that song. yeah, i heard it at a party last weekend in a, yeah, in a PARALLEL UNIVERSE i went to...

  • lmfao

  • Sounds like Buckaroo Banzaii... oscillation overthruster.

Now if we only could find a way to move the neutrons, electrons and protons to the sides, we could actually move through the rock (or hide in it).

    Otherwise, I like the video!!!

  • Did you listen to the recording at a higher speed? Maybe it would be more understandable, or I'm just sounding like an idiot.. I don't know.. just something to try again. (because you already did it in another universe) :) Good Luck

  • I am afraid you don't understand the process here. For example rado waves carry information that when processed through your radio gives you sound. Sound can be information transferred by light waves lassers or whatever. That photons can pass fronm one universe to another is being accepted more in quantum mechanics. The real question is do these photons carry information. That is what this experiment is about.

  • Ok, thanks for the clarification. I see where you're going with this now. Seems like it would be hard to get conclusive results, but good luck. That would be cool if we could one day prove parallel universes.

  • I don't understand. How are you turning data from a laser into sound? And what does any of that have to do with a parallel universe?
