I remember on "Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman" with Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher, they had some old, overweight guy play Metallo. I couldn't believe that shit!

You know I'm surprised that they didn't go with Metallo much earlier, when in the first few seasons -every- villain was meteor based. And here's a villain from the classic Rogue's Gallery who's actually powered by Kryptonite, and they wait 8 years before they use him?

@boxa1500 Don't recall him fighting Mongul, Legion of Supervillians, Bizarro Flash, Bizzaro Legion, Molemen, Prankster, giant ants, Terraman, Titano, Kryptonian Dragon, Composite Superman, Zhavam, Jax-Ur, Nuclearman, Solarman, Wolfman, Lobo, Viking guy with flaming sword, Yellow Peri(Although Superboy did on Superboy tv show), only fought one of the Fatal 5 the persuader and only one of Crime syndicate Ultraman, and I am sure there are plenty more foes from comics he didn't fight.
@boxa1500 Ummmm, Lew Luthor will become President, Metallo is still alive (could always be reprogrammed again), there have been other versions of Bizarro, Doomsday is stuck in the Earth (until he kills Superman), Zod is trapped in the Zone (with Ursa and Non plotting his return), Ultraman is alive and could always return with the Crime Snydicate, etc. The only villain Clark defeated for good pre-Superman was Brainiac (and maybe Darksied?). Mongul, Atomic Skull, Lobo, there are still so many!! :)
@MoeMoneyofYA Pure evil is not real in humans, we all have motivations to do what we do, so "Pure evil" in a series context is cheesy, but a motivated human (even when I'm not a villain lover) is a lot more undertandable.
@TriggerHappyChicken depends on how much change you can accept. plus, at the very end, he does become the superman we know and love. but this is before that.
