Not in this instance what the "nemesis" is refering to on my opinion is that he wants to kill Jacob and that to do so he has to find a loophole to do so. That loophole is more than likely an incident that brought the losties to the island needs to be repeated i.e flight 313 and everything that has led up to that has been manipulated by the "nemesis"

I think he's refering to the ash loop around the wood house... The "nemesis" was traped in that cabin by that loop and he did in fact find the hole in the loop to escape.

There's no reason to believe Juliet's dead. If Juliet died from the bomb, so did everyone above her. If the others are saved (and they're the main characters, so they will be) Juliet would be too. It makes no sense that the blast would kill only Juliet and leave the other alive. Besides, she's the best female on the show.

I think that Jacob knew that he will die, and he makes sure that the incident will happen preventing building the swan, which lead to oceanic six will not crash . . . . which means bin will not die and he never be with the others.and he will not not kill him. but why EKKO killed by the black smoke, what was the purpose ? i did not find the answer yet.

:O, Just rewatching the last scene of the season, with Juliette, when she wakes up. and I think that it was reminiscent of when John Locke fell out the window, and was saved by Jacob. Similar cirumstances, Large fall, looking pretty dead etc. :P

Maybe he thinks if this blows up the hatch, Locke doesn't come back, Crazy fake Locke doesn't come, and therefore does not convince Ben to kill Jacob, Thus saving his life :)

Acording to the bible Jacob had a twin brother named Esau they were some of Gods chosen people, jacob and esau never saw eye to eye since the moment they were born, Esau was the eldest & became jelous and angry with Jacob as there story progresses & esau pledges to kill jacob once their father dies, Esau is portrayed as the bad twin & Jacob the good, this whole thing also pays a fitting reference to the lost spin off novel BAD TWIN written by gary troup the guy sucked ito the plane in the pilot

their story is slightly misunderstood. esau wasn't bad, he was a hunter and he minded his own business, it's jacob who tricked him and after years when he came back and feared the meeting, esau forgave him and was happy to meet him. he was never bad. believe me, i know my bible pretty well... i dunno if that's the real metaphore for this relationship, i'd stick with the egyptian gods.
