Throwing Knife and riot shield > blast shield and riot shield

@CheaterMcCheat riot shield is a defensive tool. one of its main weaknesses is explosives. blast shield synergizes well with it. if i wanted to kill people i wouldnt have a riot shield. throwing knifes are just a gimmick, theyre not useful.

@volound It isn't just a defensive tool though. I use it with a throwing knife and a pistol secondary in team deathmatch and do just fine. It's different nowadays though, search and destroy is now full of quickscopers trying to get awesome round winning kill cams so it's pretty much safe to use the throwing knife instead as they can't noob tube with their interventions. I haven't seen anyone noobtubing in search for ages.

doing "just fine" isnt really an option for me, anyway. my kill death ratio is near 10, so if i want to not have a subpar game, i cant afford to be killed by explosives.. even very occasionally.

@volound Oh, I don't whore my k/d ratio though so I can "afford" to use the throwing knife. It works well on everything to be honest if you know how to use it, you just have to learn the arc and how far to lead targets. Stun them first and switch to your pistols quickly or throwing knife them. Works like a charm.

ive already explained this... YOU might be satisfied with 1 or 2 kills per death (which the throwing knife will help you towards). but when aiming for a kill death ratio of 10, the benefits from blast shield are stupendous compared to a throwing knife.
