  • Excellent.

  • Is this the same pianist who played General Lavine Eccentric in Young Musician of the Year, which I was watching at the time?

  • @1Thompsonmusic, I wouldn't know since I didn't see the performance. However, he was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year.

  • Fantastic playing, so mouving. It seems to listening drops of water falling down. I like especially from 1.43 to 1.57.

  • This is the most beautiful playing I can imagine. And this piece is otherwordly.

  • Great performance! Thank you for sharing.

  • you have a wonderful teacher indeed

  • I know...

  • Nice. Thank you, James! :)

  • I'm not usually a Chopin fan (or a fan of the piano in general), but this is really nice! He has the kind of expressive control I dream about, the romantic piano's best and (as such things tend to be) most underutilized resource. Five stars, a favorite, some inspiration and then some.

  • Wonderful.

    Lovely, gentle touch.

  • I agree, in his hands it just flows so smoothly.

  • Fabulous!

  • The opening notes in the right hand are like pearls. This fine pianist/musician truly has absolute control over the tonal resources of the piano. And his grasp of the concept of the piece is extraordinary.

  • This gorgeous - AND difficult masterpiece is being played exquisitely by your teacher. Chopin is in our midst. How unbelievably gratifying !

  • Its an eternally soothing performance.

  • Perfect choice of words.
