  • A rule of the sea is the captain is the LAST person off, NOT ONE OF THE FIRST!!! I heard he got off before the rats! :p

  • this man is italian he is not english leave him alone

  • Why are people saying it was like the sinking of the Titanic. Where the Titanic went down you couldn't swim to shore. And I don't think the waters of Tuscany are below freezing.

  • Did you guys not hear Captain Genius? He TRIPPED and fell into the life boat!

  • Once he had abandoned his ship, he probably couldn't get

back on. He shouldn't have gotten off in the first place, and

to steer his ship so close to the island was inexcusable! Had

he ordered the evacuation earlier and radioed for help, so

many more lives could have been saved!

  • They should strap him to a wooden pole off a beach near the accident, facing the very spot where the ship sunk, and his victims died. Then let the tide come in and take him, just like what they used to do to people in ancient times.

  • while the captain -fell- in the lifeboat,,THERE was a guy ,a bass player in rock band,,from bari, south italy , that left his own place on the emergency boat to a children,,,,so far hi's still missing;;; a truly hero GIUSEPPE GIROLAMO

  • Can a judge trip and fall and accidentally put the Captain behind bars too?

  • "He tripped & fell into the lifeboat".

I hope he's not paying for that stellar legal advice.

  • Hero - ground the boat hit

Villian - pampered middle aged weaklings on board

  • @ThePayola123, you need to understand that you will not be missed when you go missing.

  • Since when is bitching out a failed captain considered a hero? That word is pointless these days and people should stop using it for anyone remotely funny and/or decent. This whole story is fucking retarded in every way.

  • @PrimeConsciousness

I thought the same thing. It's easy to sit behind a telephone, dry and warm, while you scream at some other poor sucker to get back on a sinking ship. There's nothing even remotely heroic about that.

  • @dookdawg214 Even so, no other captain would leave their ship, especially if it's their fault they crashed.

  • @dookdawg214 But the guy on the shore wasn't a hero, just trying to do his job.

  • "Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once." Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.

  • the captain of the ship maybe should be drowned at sea like his victims.

  • Who cares if a bunch of guidos, wops, and meatballs go missing?

  • @ThePayola123 most were not from italy, at least check the facts you lazy cum guzzling troll :)

  • "He tripped & fell into the lifeboat". Brilliant!

  • @Cabronosidad that was convenient.
