he's a pure pures dont get def up. cuz pures do more fking damage then regular ppl. considering they dont level up some of em have 99 skills at like lv 80 and thats a good thing for them but bad thing for regular ordinary pkers if the pures are any good unless they got dt done and got 82 mage+

The option to be trained by Daero is completely optional, and it's just a bonus reward. Except the thing for pures is that they CANNOT go to Ape Atoll if they don't accept the training first :(
