I am Ukrainian and I know who reconstructed and serves him on the extent of all these years since 1991.so that shut your mouth and do not tell me about Kazakhs of latvian Georgians and moreover RUSSIAN!!!!!!
@TheBodik7 Once again, servicing an aircraft is not the same as designing and building it. Don't get me wrong, ukrainian Antonov is doing a great job in maintaining this aircraft. But when you own a mercedes and bring it into an ukrainian dealership with ukrainian mechanics it does not become a ukrainian car. Not even if they rebuild it. This plane is not ukrainian, nor is it russian. Things are a little more complicated than that, obviously too complicated for some people.
@catrachocolo I will not simply understand why you are so sure in this and where are you know this, who exactly built it airplane?I apologize for errors !!!!!!!! P,S where are you from?
@TheBodik7 Interesting logic. So if I put a ukrainian flag on a mercedes, it's a ukrainian car? Could you people just stop with this needless "it's ukrainian - no, it's russian"-discussion? It was build by a company based in Ukraine. So what? That doesn't make it ukrainian. Mercedes builds the S-class in Egypt. Does that make it an egyptian car? Don't think so.
@TheBodik7 Back to the Antonov: were all of its designers and engineers ukrainians? Don't think so. Were all of the raw materials and all of the parts and all the technology ukrainian? Don't think so. Was all of the money needed to build it from the Ukraine? Don't think so. The AN-225 was built in the Soviet Union by engineers from all of its republics. With raw materials and technology from all of its republics.
@TheBodik7 So it is as much russian as it is ukrainian as it is latvian as it is kazakh as it is georgian and so on.... Just shut the fuck up and enjoy this marvel of technology.
yes but soviet it was not a counry, it was united of the countries, Ukraine just part of them, Ukraine and Russia are too different to call them by one name, Germany also in the European Union, but we do not call the German car the made by the EU, they are still German
@lineon8 CCCP wasn't like today's EU. It was like the USA, but instead of states (with their own laws etc.) it had the "Soviets" witch were something close to USA's state system. When CCCP economy faced a crisis and the union crashed, the soviets became countries. Whatever was made at the time CCCP existed, we say it was made by the CCCP, today's Russia, Ukraine and so on.
It looks like it's flying 10 mp/h :-)
