  • You should have a video showing how you made this gun, step by step.

  • track of the wolf has many kits (the wood blanks are too soft) and rifles, muskets for sale as well. john bergmann of puryear tenn built mine. nice video! thankyou for posting

  • Tumbs up for the nice music!

  • your guns are realy nice

  • I'm looking to build my next muzzleloader. Do you have a book out that will give me tips on fitting the hardware and finishing the stock?

  • great gun !

i tried my hand at it too

    only as a novice

    nothing like yours

but its on my channel if you wouldn't mine looking ?

i would love to see what tools to use

right now i use a file a chisel and a sander and a grinder to cut my brass plate! ball peen hammer and a vise to shape it

i sit in a chair !no bench

    i need a good bench

thanks for the video great rifle !

  • How much does it cost for a basic one? also if I was to buy one from you, how could you guarantee that the shipping would keep the gun safe and on sight. Also would you help me get started with making ammo and stuff for the gun? Like I need help knowing what black powder to get, the mold and size to get. Also you wouldn't need to lube this bullet would you? And how is the best way to clean one of these guns?

  • If you want a real gun get a flintlock? What's wrong with percussion? Percussion shoots just as well as a flintlock if not better.

  • Beautiful craftsmanship, thanks for carrying on the tradition. Can you build me on left handed? Just a joke, can't afford one. But great to see there are real gunsmiths still out there.

  • i made 40 000th view

  • Beautiful Rifle.

  • god, it takes you like 3 minutes just to load it.. but it's still cool

  • I realise you build flint locks, but would you consider building me a .50 cal percussion or cap lock ? I just want a plain Jane with a 1 in 66 barrel twist for roundball. I never see the Traditional style in my area anymore they are all inline modern composite crap. Not my idea of black powder . Though I have friends that speak highly of them.

  • Very beautiful work ,sir! I wish I could get one, but I will do EVERYTHING I can to get one before I die. one of these guns are at the top of my bucket list

  • I want one! shame he probs cant ship to UK. :(

  • @QuickJedi93 Actually, its Black powder and there aren't many restrictions on black powder guns almost anywhere in the world, he has recently shipped to Austria and other European countries.

The only thing you might have problems with is the ivory inlay, he may have to use false ivory, but it looks just as nice:)

If you want one, I would go ahead and into it, Im sure he would ship one... Im very happy with mine and the're great fun... and like I said, there are nearly no restrictions! ;)

  • @picrockpro How much would it cost? Around a Estimate? Do not know If I can afford it at the minute.

  • @picrockpro you got one of these?.. how much did you get it?

  • I know you heard this before, but man do you make some beautiful rifles!

  • excellant

  • Great video, very beautiful work.

  • omg a fergeson

  • How do you get ivory ?

  • do you make any cap guns instead of flints

  • Wow! The only gun I was ever interested in is the flintlock. The physics are so pure!

  • Beautiful work. Wish I could do that. I'd love to commission one, but I can tell right now I wouldn't be able to afford one :(

Anyway, I'm mightily impressed. keep up the good work!

  • beautiful rifles

  • what's the name of the song?

  • when these people die where will this art go?

  • Wow, nice rifles. reminds me of my kentuckian

  • yo pm me his number please i would like to ask about his prices

  • Damn I love these old rifles, classic.

  • This is the way a rifle was meant to be. A real work of art. Bravo Mr. Westgate

  • very beautiful great craftsmanship and detail

  • where do you post your gun's?

  • You do real nice work

  • Sweet!!!

  • A true artist in lock, stock and barrell! GReat work!

  • That looks like exceptional work. It's always a breath of fresh air to see hand-worked pieces of brilliant machinery.

  • that is one sweet rifle! LOVE the big fat buttstock on it! i had a 10 gauge that has a fat buttstock and it was WAY better than the one my buddy has with a narrow buttstock.

also the maple wood and all the ornate stuff is amazing! well worth a fair bit of cash for all the work that goes into em!

  • very nice work,very nice

how much are u selling these riffles for?

  • Call him up and ask:)

  • @yboben your looking at a few thousand dollars

  • That is some beautiful craftsmanship Mr. Westgate.

  • That rifle really shines.

  • I think about to order one

  • i want your life!!!
