Gurdjieff, had direct connection with a hidden and ancient "mystery school". A place of esoteric lost knowledge, who alos act as guardians of that knowledge. He wrote "Beelzebubs tales to his grandson" in which he among many strange ideas also mentions how the monkeys came from us. makes a lot more sense to me than we coming from the monkeys.

U welcome. Although i must warn u, "Beelzebubs tales to his grandson" is not an easy book to read. He deliberatelay writes in a very uncommon fashion where he for example often writes half a page before making a full stop. He does that partly to provoke the reader to pay more attention and stop the mechanical reading we are so used to. But an incredible material if u have the patience to get through it! Good luck! :)
