  • I agree Sanford Clark mastered this song, but old Lee does a pretty good job. I just like listening to all the different versions- glad there's YouTube and thanks for posting!

  • @daughterofRMS

    You're welcome.

I love both versions, but Lee have done more

for the music world I think,as a songwrighter, singer and producer.

Maybe you've got another oppinion??? Haa haa.

Thanks for watching, take care my friend.

  • Not as good as Sanford Clark (in my opinion) although that version was produced by Lee -anyone got a decent copy????

  • @catsmeat1000

And also written by Lee Hazlewood, don't forget that!!!

In my world Lee have done so much more,so I would

prefer him,if you excuse me??? Haa haa.

  • Great song.

Sanford Clark have played it very best, oh, not very best, a little bit best.

The Sanford's version are too special for me, and for me, no other version will beat.

  • @RamisAbud1

I know what you're saying,it's hard to beat the version

    you've learned to love first!!!

    thank you very much again!

  • good version but i still like the sanford clark version

  • @marlowefrank

    Maybe that.

But he still had a voice that would beat most of the singers!!

And what a songwriter he was???

I don't think you could agree about that??? Haa haa.

  • Great stuff here, Arne! He has such a rich history! Wonderful movies in the video too! The Searchers is one of my favorites! Thanks!

    Jim

  • @nipsterstang

    Thanks Jim.

He had a voice that I fell for completely in the

70's when i first heard him,it sends chills up my spine!!

It seem that he would have at least two fans??? Haa haa.
