when it says special items used what is the game referring to? I've played MGS4 several times and always got the special items 0.

@Gb755c late response but it is referring to using the "stealth" item and the "bandana" which are special items with special abilities that u either buy for 5million dp each or do the special sequence to unlock them.. for bandana play the whole game without killing anyone so just use the tranq this included the bosses u must reduce there stamina bar. and for stealth u must not get one alert phase THE ENTIRE GAMe.. enjoy :D

@RpGfreak901 ok yes he is very very old but idk hes in really good shape, and they did slice his arm off but replaced it with liquid snakes arm to see if it would work, but after a while liquids spirit i guess took over his body and thats why hes evil (he really didnt take over ocelt studied him and had therapy to turn into liquid so snake could destroy outer haven and that stuff) so bacisly ocelot is no more and liquid found a new body but there is alot more

i've taken some thought into this... during the codecs, snake freezes in the background and everything stops and stuff. in vash's MGS 2 walkthrough he complained that they just stood there and waited for raiden to finish, but what i think is that the codecs actually are instantanious, happening at the speed that your nerves work at, (the talking and such, seeing as your brain works faster than your mouth) and that once it's all said and done you have an immediate recollection of what was said :D

Yeah, I know. They use radios in that game and the game still stops. The point is that the game "freezes" when using Codec/Radio no matter what. :)

But its actually better to pause game than let the player die during them.
